Eh.  I thought both teams had some execution issues on offense.  Josh missed Knox wide open in the end zone.  Nix missed a few wide open receivers later in the game (some drops too).

In all fairness, Josh was running from left to right and threw the ball through  a sea of defenders to Knox who was running right to left.  Not an easy pass at all.

Hollins was my favorite player in that game. he is one funny mother ***** and boy howdy that hit on special teams.

Yeah, I like Hollins.

I’ve been pounding this drum the last week or two.

Mack Hollins isn’t just our best ST’er. He’s the best in the league. He was 100% a pro bowl and AP snub.

Thought Bo Nix was OK - He didn't throw in rhythm, and after his first drive (60 yards and the TD) he proceeded to go 11 for 20 for 80 yards.  The Bills took away anything deep, and Nix wasn't incredibly accurate on the run.  He is quick, he had those 4-5 nice runs when we played shell at the end of the first half.  I'm not as high on him as others, I think he is close to his ceiling as a decent low end starter in the league.  We will see.

Regarding the Bills - the biggest takeaway was how well the LB core played.  Bernard and Milano made plays all game, and if they play that well against the Ravens we have a good shot at winning the game.  Milano was GREAT as a spy on Nix, and Benford attacked lanes incredibly well.

Agree. The miss to Cooper and the overthrow to Davis were worse passes. The Knox one was probably more difficult.  Those were his only miscues all day. His decision making was flawless.

If your standard is that every play in every game be flawlessly then sure.  I’m just saying I thought Denver looked decent and they are likely to improve.

To be fair to Nix… there were 3 (maybe more?) passes that hit the WRs hands and dropped. As we’ve all seen… it’s hard to stay in rhythm when your receivers are dropping easy passes.    The Broncos should be fine going forward.   The Bills are just a much better team.   Which is why it was so stupid for all the pundits to call this the most likely upset.

I can only imagine how the all the talking heads are going to frame this week’s game.  They’re all just hoping! Praying!   Lamar and the Ravens beat the Bills.   They have to justify their continual mvp love for that team.

No it didn't. Joe Brady sucks, he's horrible, in fact I saw him calling plays using one of those foldy things from middle school and a Magic 8 Ball. Total fraud. The NFL should forget he's a person.

Yeah and he parked in a handicap spot at the stadium!

Dalvin Cook does make sense.

One of my friends was at the game yesterday. She and her son were in the same suite as Dalvin Cook and the Cook family. She happened to be wearing a James Cook jersey (not knowing she'd be in the same suite as his fam). She said they were awesome and it was a blast. I can imagine, with the day that Jimbo had.

I agree with that - I am just saying that I thought both defenses got lucky more than they got stops.

Denver looked largely like a team that was just happy to be there.

Feels a lot like the Bills in Houston oh so many years ago, just got to get that monkey off your back.

I've been thinking about that TD pass and catch on the 4th and 1. The best part about it is that Baltimore and others now know it's in our playbook. Allen can drop back to the 35 and throw a dart to the back of the end zone and take a TD, instead of doing the tush push.

If they had to see that one pass to think that, they've been under a rock for the past 5 yrs

Normally I watch a game back and think "That was better than I thought" as usually emotion makes things look worse. Yesterday's game... I'm not so sure - particularly on offense. It felt like the execution issues and the penalty issues were still as concerning as watching live. The Johnson touchdown was a superb play by him, as the throw could have easily been incomplete. It was not an easy catch. If he had missed it it wouldn't have been on him, and the game would have been in a very different place.

The scoreline suggests a blowout for the Bills and, in the end it was, but it was not an easy one for the most part. Hopefully things will be tightened up for the Ravens game.

Bills completely wore out the broncos defense in that first half…they could’ve scored 50+ that game if they had to. That game was nowhere near as close as it looked (while it was close) imo

Unfortunately for them they’re in a division they will likely never win and will always be coming in as a 6/7 seed. They’re gonna have an uphill battle every year

I think there was also an element of guessing whether or not Knox was going to keep running or stop. Allen threw it to where he would be if he stopped. Always a risk off script.
