If that’s true, yeah you can’t do that. Its much better to have him talk to Josh than just get flag happy and send us back 15 yards. Agreed, it sucks that they miss an obvious call, but this is an example of special treatment in a good way. Better for the ref to talk to Josh and tell him to get the guys to reign it in, rather than flag us. 1 Quote

Leonard Fournette is a FA and spent part of last year here. But if it's a 1 or 2 week absence for Davis (and still too early to speculate) then I don't see any moves needing to be made. Quote

Evans can't be signed because he was on the bears active roster. At least I think. Clyde Edwards helaire knows Brady's offense a bit from LSU Royce Freeman was in a familiar system under Sean Payton Myles gaskin is available I think Dalvin Cook is a vet who was on the cowboys ps. I think Dalvin Cook is an obvious choice. He's a veteran and obviously his brother is on the team. Still only 29 and can learn quickly. I think he would be a good emergency RB to have But who knows maybe Davis will be fine and play vs the ravens What was the point in keeping Frank Gore Jr on the practice squad all year if he can’t play? It’ll be tough for Ray Davis to be ready this week. Frank Gore Jr is the move. Otherwise release him. I can see them signing another RB to the PS as well. Reminds me of the scene from Bull Durham where Crash Davis gets ejected for calling the ump a certain name. There's definitely a right way and a wrong way to address the officials. In an ideal world Josh should let his coaching staff handle it. Getting mouthy with the ref during the game isn't always a wise decision. Actually, rather than being "thin skinned" I think this is a classy move on the ref's part. If he was that thin skinned he could have done pretty much anything to include an ejection. He said something about "I'm not an all-Pro or a 2nd team all-Pro, but to this team I'm an all-Pro." I think the Bills team took notes and kept receipts 5 2 6 Quote

I'm guessing Frank Gore Jr will be RB 3 if need be or maybe they sign a vet RB just in case but I think Ray Davis will be fine. There's a decent chance he plays vs Baltimore Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Harbaugh and Co know this is the best Ravens team they've had offensively since like 2019. They lost the conference last season and have no intention to go quietly this season. On paper, they (3,1;9;10) are a better team than the Bills in every category but offensive points scored (2,10;11;17). Fortunately football games are played on fields on Sunday, not on paper. So we'll see. I think Ray Davis will be out this week. Quote

Mahomes is caught on camera being much more demonstrative in working the refs. Having said that, when Allen was asked during the postgame press conference if Ninovich apologized for the missed call he smiled and said he wasn't going to comment on it. That leads me to believe he may have actually apologized (or at least acknowledged) it was a missed call. Quote

It benefits us but also is a symptom of our fault. We have a unit that can move the ball at will anywhere on the field to anyone capable of playing a starting role in the league (on any team for that matter). You can't convince me that someone like Mack Hollins would be lower than a #3 WR on any team. You can't convince me that Samuel, Cooper, or Coleman would be, either. That's their floor. It's pretty good to have a solid floor because their ceilings are all 1B in a game. Shakir starts on any team. Surtain can shut down his side and his man but when his man is just one piece and not the feature with a QB who can wait in or out of the pocket and make a window it will only go so far. Surtain and the Broncos played very good and solid close coverage. They created many problems for Allen and each sack and pressure was due to coverage not the DLs ability or quality. If that team can find balance and elevate their nickle or OLB somewhere to hold the middle of the field it'll help them. They were, however, overated. Quote

They scored right out of the gate and the Bills completely shut them down over 60 minutes like an absolute bully. It wasn’t perfect but they wore them down and dictated everything after that initial score. It was a total statement win by the bills. And unlike the Steelers who the ravens only beat by 14, the broncos were coming in hot, playing their best football. And the ravens will still probably get all the hype this week and if we are lucky they will make us a home dog. As you all know I'm not a betting maven but since Buffalo has a home-field advantage isn't -1.5 either calling it a push or even giving the Ravens a slight edge (think they give us -3 for homefield these days?) No more -3 for home field. More like -1.5 to 2. So yes, this is more or less a pick ‘em game. Quote

AFAIK, 1.5 is the new home field advantage. They are starting it there and letting the betters set the line over the week. I expect that by the time the game starts Baltimore will be favored by a small amount because their star power will drive betters to their side. But I also don't gamble, so what do I know. Quote

General public knows Baltimore steamrolled Buffalo. They dont factor in how many key defensive players, Shakir, and Samuel were injured, no Amari , and this game is in Buffalo. I feel strongly confident Josh and the Bills beat Baltimore thoroughly Quote

SoFi is 0 homefield advantage https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6048081/2025/01/10/nfl-home-field-advantage-point-spread/ (not sure if that's paywalled or not) It mentions KC and Seattle are closer to 2 points and I would imagine Buffalo would have to be up there Quote
