SIDE NOTE: I loved the mid January shadows cast on the field in the 2nd Half! I had season tix during our SB era but as is typical, it was usually cloudy. We may never see the Bills in this LIGHT ever again as the new Highmark is aimed the opposite way -plus the canopy. Hope yall enjoyed the rare view too!

With 3:07 left in the third quarter, the score was 13-7. So with a single play, the Broncos could tie the game, with just an extra point away from the lead.

 

At 3:06 Josh makes a great throw and Ty Johnson makes a ridiculous, highly unlikely catch on 4th down to really take control of the game. For almost 42 minutes, this was a one score game.

 

And this was at home against a 7 seed Broncos team that barely made the playoffs, with a rookie QB that went on the road to Buffalo. It's not like this was Baltimore.

 

I get it, this is a Bills board and people want to be optimistic, but there's room for opinions other than just being a cheerleader. I see the things that need to be cleaned up in order to get a championship, something that I guarantee the team is also doing.

Of course Miami fans would complain haha they’re biased as hell.  It was a pathetic missed call feels like a pretty classy move to own up to it

Josh said the official was telling him to stop yelling and complaining about the missed call.  

 

the idea that he was over there because they were in cahoots is laughable.

Just gonna say… play of the game.  That was just one of those plays that crushes a team and makes the game seem hopeless.    
 

Gotta give our coach some credit, to go do that. I was thinking kick the FG.  9pt lead is still 2 scores with a team that was having trouble moving the ball.  But they went for the kill shot.  Then when it wasn’t a run I was screaming …holy F’in *****!!!!!   Then Josh Allen did Josh Allen things and all was right in the world.  
 

Big time ballsy call to go for it. Big time ballsy call to not run it.  And Josh just ..I don’t know what goes through is mind… but he’s got ice in his veins to keep his composure in that situation.    Just an incredible play.  

 

Next most important series…. Not giving up a first down after the fake punt.  Huge huge!  You gotta think the Broncos planned that all week to steal a possession. And it worked!!   Then they still had to punt.   But the real killer.. after downing it at the half yard line… the Bills just methodically moved the ball and flipped the field position on them.   That was the beginning of the end.  The Bills took their best shots… and we’re still right there in control of the game. 
 

I’m gonna enjoy this win after watching everyone say we’d be upset and Surtain made it impossible for us to run that 4x1 offensive set and all the crap!   Not to mention their defense would force Josh into sacks and turnovers.  LOL. Let’s enjoy this!  We can start to hyperventilate about the Ravens in a day or 2.

I just saw that Cook was the first Bills RB since Thurman Thomas in 1995 (!) to have over 100 yards rushing in a playoff game! Can that be true? Wow.

 

THAT’S what makes this year’s Bills offense different. Josh finally doesn’t have to do it all by himself.

Indeed.  In the fourth qtr romo slipped up when talking about the Bills - Ravens next week and used the pronoun "we need. . ." referring to the Bills.  I thought he might get a wrist slap for that.

Agree it’s ironic, because it was on a no-call.

 

Although, based on Josh’s smirk, I don’t think that was the actual conversation. He was protecting Vinovich there… he quickly said “I’m not going to comment on that” after his initial comment.
