That’s the strength of this team. Average defense with our offense playing well is the recipe I think. Totally agree with you. If the bills can keep Henry to 100 yds rushing and maybe 24 points scored I would be thrilled. But I hope they don’t drop 40 on us behind 200 yds rushing. 1 Quote

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to have the script completely flipped this year. Poor in the regular season but stout in the playoffs. The defense IS the healthiest they've been in the playoffs since the 2021-2022 season. Hope they have a plan to stop Henry next week. Lamar tends to look less than MVP-like when Henry is contained. 1 Quote

Zero confidence in this defense and the guy running it when it comes to the playoffs. When playoff time rolls around, a constant theme is McD’s bad decisions and bad defense. This is going to be another great season by Josh wasted by McDermotts scheme, lack of guts, and a porous defense. Can’t believe his defense let up 7 points and 2 third down conversions. Can’t win with a guy like that. Fire him. A lot of that was time of possession. Quote

Also feels like Lamar looks less MVP like whenever there is offensive momentum the other direction. I hope we win the toss and receive or Baltimore defers and we can get out to a quick lead, especially with home field advantage. When he's calm and not forcing things he has been deadly this year. 1 Quote

We played well, but this is like the regular season victory laps. I will gladly repent and honor the church of Sean if they do it next week. Quote

I think they've been feeling it out just for this matchup and expect to see Dorian Williams out there at times next week, particularly in the first half. 2 Quote

You measure NFL coaches on longevity of success more so random luck with injuries and how they do against Hall of Fame talent in single games Some coaches are good at building culture, shaping a locker room and creating year by year consistency. But they just don’t have what it takes to finish the job and win a championship. McDermott may be a good coach. He may even be a great coach. But at some point, you can’t just ignore the playoff failures. Defense is supposed to be what he brings to the table. The road to the Super Bowl goes through the same guys every season (Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow). If he can’t figure out how to slow down those guys, we are just spinning our wheels. A lot of Bills fans are so terrified of possibly going back to the old drought days… they would be content stay in this cycle the rest of Josh Allen’s career. 1 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This game was about Brady and the O-line. Both passed the test! If you think beating a rookie QB at home in the playoffs absolves McDermott for past failures, I'm afraid you don't even understand the problem. Baltimore is about the defense. McDermott stopped Jackson in the past and Taron made a top 5 franchise history play. Not even asking that much next week. Keep Baltimore under 24 maybe 27 tops and Josh will do the rest. 1 Quote

Well yes. Of course. Until the Bills get past those teams and win the Super Bowl, they will be known as a strong regular season team that chokes in the playoffs. As they should. 1 2 1 Quote
