Id give Cook one and the o line had a great game. Defensive line played really well today too Agreed. Freddie's Dead Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Thanks to my mate @GunnerBill for agreeing to post the GAME BALLS! thread in my absence. Fine job! Agree on the automatic game balls, Josh, Cook, and Tupac did more than enough to retain their automatic game balls. Special shout out to Tupac for some excellent PR's and good decision making back there. The rest of my picks: Curtis Samuel - I must say that I was really wrong about this young man. Early in the season, he seemed like next in the line of Sherfield, Sharty, and.... I glossed him harshly, but I've since given him a game ball, and here is his second. His 55-yard TD to open the 4th quarter ripped the beating heart out the Broncos chest, and he showed it to them while they died. The game was over right there, even with a quarter to go. Did anybody besides me hear Berman say "WHOOP!" when Samuel put on the brakes and cut it back, then "WHOOP!" again when he slipped the tackle? I swear I heard that over Nantz's call when I watched the game later. Ty Johnson - Sick, sick, SICK!!!! Tough running throughout the game, and then the piece de resistance, the utterly ridiculous sliding catch on 4th and 1 for a TD that changed the entire complexion of the game. We are so lucky to have this guy. Finally a playmaker who rises to the occasion instead of wilting when the heat is on. THE BIG UGLIES - The Bills OL completely dominated the Broncos DL. 200+ yards rushing, Josh 20-26 with only 2 sacks. They physically imposed their will on the Broncos. The scrum where Cook went another 10-15 yards after initial contact should be the Angry Run of the Week. It was the play that let the Broncos DL know that they were in for a LONG day. Matt "Cookie" Milano - WELCOME BACK COOKIE, WE MISSED YOU SO!! Early on, Groot dragged down an RB for a TFL, and just before he went down, Cookie comes flying in from off-screen and absolutely CLEANED UP the RB! Every time he was in on a tackle after that, he was physical as *****. He is peaking at exactly the right time. The Bills run defense is just so much more effective with Cookie in there over Williams. Cookie gives me hope. Cam Lewis - Sometimes you get a game ball for a single play. The Broncos found some life in the 4th quarter, going down the field rapidly against the Bills soft prevent. On 4th down, Cam went up against the Denver receiver and hit him hard to stop him short of the FD and force the turnover on downs. He was shaken up on the play, but what was remarkable was Romo's commentary. He basically said that Cam Lewis wanted the stop more than the Bronco wanted the first down. Cam Lewis is all football player. He can play on my team anytime. Von Miller (yeah, I seddit) - While Von didn't get to Nix, he harassed him all day long. Like Cookie, Von seems to be rounding into form at exactly the right time. He was blatantly held on a couple of those rushes, but the refs are in playoff form. He's due for a big game, let's hope it's soon. Tyler Bass"o'Matic" - His 11 points would have won the game by themselves. He also had excellent kickoffs, with one skipping through the landing zone giving the Broncos a drive start on the 20. Bass is also rounding into form at just the right time. 1 Quote

Loved it @Virgil, that was established when I was picking Shakir for a game ball literally every week. He almost lost it because I had to revoke it the previous two weeks. Three consecutive weeks of revocation gets you off the automatic list, but Tupac came through big. 1 Quote
