I get Lamar is a lot more refined now and they got Derrick Henry, but if I were Bobby B? I would be picking Leslie's brain a bit and/or watch film of those past games 1 Quote

EmotionallyUnstable Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I definitely believe the Bills defense will be worlds more disciplined and prepared for the ravens offense than both last meeting and the Steelers last week. That said, I get the feeling that McDermott is going to bring out something unique that we haven’t really seen a ton of. I have no idea what it’d be but an example might be a large increase in man coverage with bringing DBs off the edge on run blitzes, more 5-2 to try and limit the doubles and keep the LBs clean, stunting DL, etc. McDermott has a chance to rise to the occasion here. We’ve seen and thought that we’ve experienced some vanilla offense over the course of the final stretch of the regular season and now I can’t help but wonder what else is left in the bag defensively. Have they also been holding back? If there is anything left in there, now would be the time. Edited 1 hour ago by EmotionallyUnstable Quote

But if they have a 2nd WR instead of likely or ricard? I'd keep Taron out there. He's a good tackler and instincts tend to win out more than beef. Also, he's more likely to run another Lamar interception back 101 yards for a touchdown than Dorian is. 9 hours ago, zow2 said: The Buffalo News had an excellent stat today. They questioned if the Ravens pass defense was really as amazing as they've looked recently? Then they looked at the recent opponents offensive rankings. LA Chargers ranked 19th in passing yards Houston ranked 21st Cleveland ranked 22nd NY Giants ranked 28th Philadelphia ranked 29th Pittsburgh x 3 games ranked 27th The Ravens reputation has fattened up on an average of the 25th ranked passing offenses. I'm not saying that Sunday will be great for passing, this will probably be a game where whoever dominates the trenches and runs better will win. Others here have posted the equivalent of this earlier in the topic but it's nice to see it broken down by ranking. It also bears mentioning that in the Giants game the QBs were Tim Boyle and Tommy DeVito, and in the Cleveland game it was Bailey Zappe, 9 hours ago, RobbRiddick said: He definitely looks like a Bill, no idea why they named him Maxx Maybe because he's not a sexual predator? 7 hours ago, Beck Water said: Flowers ain't playing and Harbaugh's not fooling anyone (except for those who believe that the word "gullible" is not in the dictionary). 7 hours ago, TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th said: The weather for the game Is being overblown by the media, just like they tend to do when any snow storm is forecasted . They are saying 5 degree temperatures sunday night..... Well that's true at 1 am but not so much at 630. Supposed to be 15. They are saying there's going to be snow . Maybe a flurry or two . They are saying it's going to be windy with gusts up to 20-25 mph! ....the wind is going t9 be negligible at 5mph. The ravens won't be cold and the conditions outside of a little cold should be ideal. Dude, it's obvious you're downplaying the severity of the weather because you're trying to unload those last two tickets. 🙃 6 hours ago, K-9 said: Gonna give the Ravens the ol’ groot and smoot. Henry doesn’t really have crazy burst off the line either, if you start shooting those gaps in the run game you can definitely trip him up before he gets going it’s not impossible. Bills really haven’t been bad in obvious running situations to my eye in fact we’ve made a bunch of short yardage stops this year it feels like. Gap discipline is critical again this game LBs need to see which way Ravens O line want to turn out D Tackles in real time. Bills secondary better be ready pull off coverage asap and look back to Henry. I wish we had two immovable objects to play the A -B gaps so our LBs were mostly responsible for outside hash runs etc, Chase vs crash i guess But we dont Play 3 LBs on few early down plays ?? 25 minutes ago, EmotionallyUnstable said: I definitely believe the Bills defense will be worlds more disciplined and prepared for the ravens offense than both last meeting and the Steelers last week. It helps to be acclimated a bit but places like Buffalo and KC are regularly much colder than Baltimore in January. KC people are really accustomed to it. It's colder there. But there is not a big margin for error if you are boozed up and under-dressed in those temps. If you show up expecting there to be not much difference between a 30 degree game at M&T and 8 at Ralph you will get surprised. I've been to many of the colder games in Bills history and I was never cold for that Raiders 0 degree -30 windchill playoff game but per Tasker one of the Raiders almost punched out on the bench under a pile or overcoats. We'll be comfy at our tailgate I have a big heater about a size down from the one's they use now on the sidelines and we used it for that NE playoff game and it kept a large area quite nice but we also have plenty of places to take refuge during the day. If you are rolling in hours before the game via Uber and are out in it all day and underdressed you could easily be screwed by 8-9 pm. If we're specifically isolating overconfident and underprepared Ravens fans, then sure, there could be some risk. Ideally they'd just LEAVE. Which is yet another reason to want the Bills to jump on them early and often, if possible. Gotta go right after bullies and frontrunners. They are often weak-willed once you crack through that veil of invincibility. But for modestly experienced Bills fans, this game will not be dangerous or even uncomfortable. Quote

I hate to say it, Josh has to score 4 TD's and we have to beat them by 20 for everyone to STHU. Then take a page out of Josh Allen's book Put on your FTA hoodie and Tune Out the Noise I want us to beat the Ravens. I don't care if it's by 1 point or 21 points, just so it's more points than they have when the clock goes to zero So if that's not good enough to make everyone STHU, then learn to live with them yapping. 1 1 Quote
