My confidence grows w/ each day.

We played the best game of football I've ever seen any Bills team play - and really, any other team - the last time we had a sub-zero game. I think we'll thrive in this weather. The crowd will be insane.  We're healthy.  We have Josh Allen.

And just to repeat - we have JOSH ALLEN.

More likely Milano I think, at least primarily.  Better instincts and better vision.

Better Instincts. Yes. Better vision. Debatable.

Love the talk of mindset. I agree bills are getting a considerable edge and it started from the beginning of the week. Biggest comparison was how Josh and Lamar answered questions about playing each other and being buddies. Lamar said he doesn’t hang out cause he’s trying to beat Josh which fine and totally reasonable. Josh gets a similar question and says he doesn’t play against Lamar but rather plays against the ravens defense. Ravens are great but Buffalo feels laser focused on the task.

They're not likely to get more than 6".

But it could very well be heavy right in the middle of the game.

From the NWS for Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday:

A chance of rain and snow before 1pm, then snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 35. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

I've been gaining optimism throughout the week and I think that has to do with what some of the players are saying and what the national media and Ravens players been saying as well.   There is no doubt in mind that the team is hearing what's been said out to the media or from them and how the Bills are not going to be able to handle this running game and that they are all going to have a big chip on their shoulder.   I saw how Rasul and Oliver reacted to the Denver Post game, and I just think the Bills are going to be prepared from a mental standpoint.

And this response from McDermott is perfect.   Look at the intensity in his face, he's taking this game personally and he's tired of hearing it as well.   The effort and the heart will be there from the players and coaches, I just hope the game plans both offensively and defensively are better than the Ravens and that Josh balls out.

This is a different McDermott. Has been all year

I heard Mike Golic on the radio today and he believes the Ravens lining up with 6- 300lb O-Lineman making room for Henry is something the Bills will not be able to stop (for what it is worth).

Scheming can only go so far when it comes to brute force.

I hope he is wrong.

Are you ready for me to blow your mind....? The color of the ravens jersey is going to be a bigger factor than the weather....

When we played the ravens in week 4 they wore their black jerseys.  This week they will be wearing their white jerseys .

You may be asking why would that matter?

Well.. Lamar and Henry are black. When lamar cradles the brown ball into his arm on read option plays it's a lot more difficult to tell whether he pulled the ball back or gave it to Henry when the ball blends into their all black jerseys.

And thats the end of my Ted Talk.

Are you Tim Ryan?

Hopefully the Bills watched Hard Knocks: AFCN. When asked which defensive lineman is the toughest for him to go against, Lamar didn’t hesitate - Myles Garrett. But it wasn’t for the usual strength and power reasons you’d think. Last week when the Ravens were doing the read option, Watt had his eyes on the back and was crashing down on him the entire way. Lamar said Garrett will do this thing where his eyes are on the back when he’s rushing, but will then switch course and spring for the QB. Essentially tricking Lamar as to which player he was going after. If Watt watched the tape he could’ve done the same, beeline for Henry at the start and then switch to Lamar once he got close enough after the decision was made. The takeaway?

Make Lamar have to guess which player the defender is going after.

I believe there was a coach that brought the color thing up before in respect to making it more difficult to see the exchange. Don't remember who though.

It was a San Francisco broadcaster.  Tim Ryan.

He was suspended for a game for his comments and apologized to the Ravens, Lamar Jackson, the 49ers, and anyone else.

Maybe that's what it was. Just knew I heard it before

QBs and skill position players should wear football print sleeves if you ask me.

It's like when I played little league and no one could tell when I threw a knuckleball.

Coached my son's basketball game tonight and the ref was a die hard Ravens fan. He is terrified to play us. Allen has him shook for sure. He sounded like a lot of Bills fans do about our chances.

If the bills commit to stop the run, they will for the most part.

Majority of the time it comes down to a numbers game in the box. So if the bills stack the box, Baltimore won't have consistent success.

The concern with that though is letting up a long TD run. Cause if Henry breaks the 1st line of defence, then he's gone

It's like, what games are you watching, Reed? Allen has got to be the toughest QB in the league, along with Mayfield and Stafford. He's played all season with a broken hand and played two years ago with a bad throwing shoulder and didn't complain about either. Plus, show me a quarterback who is more willing to take the hit in order to make the throw downfield.

The time is right for a Borat type to parody these "experts," claiming nonsense like Mahomes is a loser, Lamar is a statue, and, yes, Allen is soft. I wonder if people would even catch on.

Dude…. This is the most obvious sarcasm ever written in the internet.

Duolingo needs to add sarcasm to its list of languages to learn.  The previous poster has the same opinion as you that Allen is as tough as nails.

There needs to be a sarcasm font too to help avoid these misunderstandings.

A penalty no of course not.

OK, well you said "i hope he starts a fight early and mixes it up.  Let the self proclaimed bullies know it’s a fight. "

You do know that fighting carries a penalty and sometimes ejection to boot?

Bringing the fight to the ravens at the line of scrimmage.  He did the exact thing to Denver last week and the jets a few weeks ago.  He went right after their d lineman.  Had to be separated and set the tone.  They are physical up front.

You do know it's not necessary to "start a fight" in order to be physical and set the tone of being physical on the line of scrimmage, right?

In fact the two don't necessarily go together.  Some of the guys with the most "tough guy" attitudes aren't, in fact, the most physical "tone setting" players.  Jon Feliciano, liked to talk a tough guy game.  2020 AFCCG, Bills OL just could not protect and Feliciano was a *****in' turnstile all day long.  Allen was sacked 4 times and probably would have been 10 if he wasn't so good at getting away.  So 3 or 4 minutes left, Allen is sacked bad, Feliciano comes out swinging and shows what a tough guy he is.  The penalties wound up "offsetting" but it was total BS.

2022, Giants took him on and gave him a shot to start at C.  Close game against Washington, G-men driving.  Feliciano gets a taunting penalty on 1st and 10, now it's 1st and 25.  Giants wind up punting, Commanders march down the field and tie the game up, that's how it ends.

Yeah, being tough and physical from the snap to the whistle and being a "tough guy" who starts fights, not necessarily the same thing.

I don’t know maybe this is your first year watching football.   This is kind of what it is all about.  Playoff football is won at the line of scrimmage.

You realize that having 4 yards per carry doesnt literally mean he is getting 4 yards every time he touches the ball. He could break one for 60 yards and then get stuffed the rest of the game.

Gee I never thought of that lol

yeah let’s hope he doesn’t break one for

60 yards either

It makes you wonder how they lost 5 games this season. Did they not have brute force in those games?
