Yes there is some here and there giving the Bills their flowers but it seems the general consensus is, Buffalo doesn't stand a chance. I don't get it. #2 seed, MVP (candidate) at Qb (let's face it, Lamar is the MVP judging by the Mob mentality media) 30+ pts per game average. It will be a challenge by Buffalo CAN and MAY win this game. Go BILLS!! 2 Quote

Throwing it a lot with a rookie, and in Dallas' case a backup QB, clearly wasn't a winning strategy or... maybe 4.0 yards per carry is not a winning strategy and those teams had to rely on their QBs cause they got behind in games. Bears as a case study. They rushed more than they passed on 1st and 10. They averaged 3.8 yards per rush. Then on 2nd and 4-6 they rushed 46% of the time and got 4.0 yards per carry. Then on on 3rd and 1-3 they rushed it 46% of the time and averaged and got 2.6 yards per carry. That resulted in just over a 50% success rate on 3rd down (14/26). Its not sustainable to go keep a drive going this way. The YPC is inflated by the 3rd and long carries that dont get the yardage. Youre essentially saying that 29 teams have a good rushing attack. If you think the league should run more then I think youre gonna have a long discussion with some analytics people. yards per rush versus yard per pass attempt is pretty decisively in favor of yards per pass attempt. Rockinon Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The Bills don't have to change their scheme. All they really need to do is keep the running lanes closed up with the big boys and then send a speedy run blitzer from the edge to hit Lamar every play. If he is handing off to Henry, doesn't matter, Lamar still gets hit. If Lamar keeps it, all the better, he gets sacked. The run game can easily be stopped. Our defense was fooled by eye candy the last game. Don't expect the same result this time. They've got lots of tape on this Ravens attack and I think the defense is going to be prepared. Force Lamar to try something else like roll out to pass to avoid getting hit. I fully expect the Ravens to lean into the run game, though. If this is what they want to do, I honestly think that will play into Buffalo's hands. With that big offensive line of theirs, it's going to be dirty work for the Dlinemen. Perhaps we see a practice squad DT called up for this one. Quote

Thats why it wasn’t a shrieking worthy moment when he was picked, she sounded utterly ret***ed . In fairness she wasn’t the only one, maybe the loudest and most annoying. 1 Quote

It's weird that Cheffers has thrown flags at one of the lowest rates this year because historically his crew has been near the top of the list. I've seen Ravens fans suggest they've had issues with him officiating their games. From what I can recall, he has not always been favorable to the Bills in the past either. I'm not overly enthused he is reffing this matchup Edited 7 hours ago by buffblue Quote

We start out with the former LB - is that Chris Long? expounding "take care of Henry first". Then Belichick shows exactly what happens when teams try that. Belichick doesn't need to argue with him. He cues up the film, and lets the film speak for itself. 2 1 Quote

When he'd fake the handoff to Henry, it looked like everyone on the D went for it - no one stayed w/ Lamar, and he'd go off direction for a good gain. One guy should stay on him all game. Quote

Ya exactly- will see what his practice status is today. Generally speaking though from what I've seen- If he's limited today, probably going to be out. We will see Quote

TheBrownBear Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I'm a little surprised at how many nationally are convinced of a Ravens win. I feel like the first game at Baltimore is doing a lot of heavy lifting with the narrative, but people outside of Buffalo aren't really taking into account that we played without Taron Johnson, Bernard, Milano or Cooper (and a hobbled Shakir). But even more than that, I feel like the Ravens' dismantling of a rattled and wobbly Houston team a few weeks ago is at the forefront of people's minds. My opinion - Ravens are a very good, balanced team, but they've been getting fat on a bunch of dogs over the back half of the season. 1 Quote
