Question to Bills fans or football fans in general - does anyone get anything useful out of ESPN football analysts besides Orlovsky or Cosell?

Does Mina Kimes say anything about the Bills that fans don’t already know?

Nah she always acting about how much love she has for us then picks against us a lot too. I know people love her but she talks out of both sides of her mouth a lot.

They're home dogs because people bet that way, not due to some conspiracy. If the Ravens win, the Chiefs will be home dogs too. The Ravens, with Henry, are seen as unbeatable right now.

Which is funny since they have as many losses as the Bills and Chiefs combined.

Honestly I look at being home dogs as a blessing. We've seen this team fail to meet expectations when they were sky high.

This year it's "house money" from the outside looking in, but from the inside it's a HUGE mist-win for Sean and Josh.

And I think the biggest difference this year is Josh has that "aura" about him. The rest of the team is playing above their skill level because they don't want to let Josh down. It's kind of remarkable.

And for all the ***** I give to McD, he's recognized it as well, and has changed his approach to the way he makes some decisions, like going for it on 4th last week when a FG puts them up 9.

I have to respectfully disagree......there is no way in H-E-double-hockey-sticks that the Chiefs would be made home underdogs.....when the Bills beat the Ravens on Sunday, I don't think the Bills would be favored in KC either.

I am pretty sure the Bills were home favorites vs. the Chiefs last year....do you think that the Ravens deserve to be road favorites more than last years Chiefs team that was defending champions??

100% agreed, I just think them not having Zay gives the bills a clearer strategy on what to prioritize defending.

It for sure makes it easier.

The football world thinks that read option between Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson that we saw in the WC round is an unstoppable play. It's up tp the Bills to prove them wrong.

I am with you on this, and I think that is where the MVP debate comes in.......the rest of the team wants this badly for Josh, and knows how big of a deal this win would be not just for the team, but for Josh individually towards the MVP.

They are going to do whatever it takes to keep them from taking it away from Josh, and a win in this game would finally shut down all the noise coming from the "just give it to Lamar for "reasons"" crowd.

LFG!!!! I can't wait for this game!!!

If this is the case, then the MVP buzz coming from the Ravens should be for Henry......he is obviously the reason why Lamar is putting up the numbers he is putting up......the true MVP of that team is Henry, not Lamar.

KC would probably be favored by 1 barring significant injuries. The Bills have shown they can play in KC.

If we beat the Ravens,  I think we’re going to New Orleans

Any team would rather play the Ravens without Lamar over Henry. No doubt about it. QB is most important and Lamar is damned good.

Nah.......everything has to be perfect for Lamar to succeed, and they have created that for him.....he is throwing to wide open receivers because of Henry, he is running wild because Defenses are focusing on Henry....he is the kind of guy that if you make him uncomfortable, he folds like a cheap tent......hopefully the Bills can make him uncomfortable on Sunday

I agree with this but I have also seen Lamar throw with some pretty good anticipation this year and some damn accurate passes when his guys are covered. Every year people tell me Lamar has improved in passing. Every year I say its the same Lamar. This year I would say yup... he's improved. It is because of Henry but I don't want to take away the fact that he is having an incredible season either. I will add, I have also seen him throw a lot of dumb passes that would normally get Josh crucified but they worked out because his guys caught them.

Wouldn’t it just be poetic justice if the Bills beat the Ravens and the Texans somehow win, and the Texans come to Buffalo? Then if the Bills made it to the Super Bowl and  the Rams make it there too and the Bills beat them for their first Lombardi? They will have beaten all their demons, all their losses in the regular season on the way to hoist the Lombardi. Friday morning dreaming!

Thanks for this clip - a true football mind breaks down formations in a professional manner.

And the 6-lineman, Ricard and two 250-pound lineman alignments.

I have never heard a single insightful observation from her.  She mimics what others have said or takes the easy or obvious route in her analysis.

They have her on because she’s nice to look at and can talk football without sounding like a moron.

This entire segment was hilarious. Stick with it; it gets better as it goes along, especially when they start talking about the Ravens practicing indoors.

The kind of cold you're concerned about isn't really how this Sunday night will be, from what I'm seeing. Even that NE WC game wasn't all that cold inside the stadium. I'd think that recent Miami x KC playoff game is a better example of what you're suggesting (hypothermia risk). I went skiing last night in EC and it got down to 15ish degrees with some breeze, especially up on the lifts near the end of the night. Constant snow. It will be just a little bit colder than that Sunday night. Not super bad when you're in a bowl full of 70k standing/yelling/anxious people.

It's just about being prepared for it.   Which is what I question.  It helps to be acclimated a bit but places like Buffalo and KC are regularly much colder than Baltimore in January.   KC people are really accustomed to it.   It's colder there.   But there is not a big margin for error if you are boozed up and under-dressed in those temps.  If you show up expecting there to be not much difference between a 30 degree game at M&T and 8 at Ralph you will get surprised.    I've been to many of the colder games in Bills history and I was never cold for that Raiders 0 degree -30 windchill playoff game but per Tasker one of the Raiders almost punched out on the bench under a pile or overcoats.   We'll be comfy at our tailgate I have a big heater about a size down from the one's they use now on the sidelines and we used it for that NE playoff game and it kept a large area quite nice but we also have plenty of places to take refuge during the day.  If you are rolling in hours before the game via Uber and are out in it all day and underdressed you could easily be screwed by 8-9 pm.

Yeah a season or two ago you could still play "make Lamar throw outside the numbers" and cheat the defense inside on him.   Now he can make the throws.   Took longer than I expected,  I actually liked him as a passer coming out but I think he was put in a dumbed down passing game from the start so they could get the most out of his running ability to win immediately so it's taken longer for him to develop as a passer.   Even the Ravens organization had their doubts that Lamar could reach this level and stay healthy doing it as recently as a couple years ago.
