Beck Water Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM Posted Thursday at 08:07 PM (edited) 2 hours ago, boyst said: Interesting article chosen for the Ravens official site... The media in Baltimore has been bordering disrespectful on all aspects of this matchup. I have listened to about 3 different shows in my spare time at work and it is much different than WGR. Any time Lamar and the Ravens are brought up it is with respect and there isn't much negativity or insult. The Ravens morning guys opened up the show talking about college basketball and hockey only to get to the game where a guy who sounds like he got his education topped off in 4th grade to say "can we all just admit the Bills defense is trash?" Anything the Ravens media does to talk about the Bills is countered in the same breath to say something positive about the Ravens. Even if they are a better team, even if they win the Super Bowl energy it is so disappointing to hear the fanbase. They only have little dick energy. Marvelous, we're going to listen to play-by-play from a guy who says "Baltimore looks unbeatable to me. They really at times look absolutely unbeatable." Does it come across to anyone else as though Harbaugh doesn't really believe this? ""These Divisional [Playoff] games are really hard to win because you're playing the best teams," Head Coach John Harbaugh said. "[The Bills are] just a super talented, well-coached type of a team. On that stage, in their place – it's going to be cold; it's going to be blustery [and] all that."" ? Who says "type of a team" when they're honestly giving props to a specific team with specific talented players? "and all that" - sounds like he feels the weather will be their biggest challenge and eh, It's Weather, We can do Weather. Edited Thursday at 08:14 PM by Beck Water 1 Quote

nbbillsfan Posted Thursday at 08:09 PM Posted Thursday at 08:09 PM I think it is a Big deal if Zay Flowers doesn't play from a scheme/matchup perspective. It feels like with the bills personnel we need to play a bunch of Man with an emphasis on stopping the run. This is hugely problematic with a game breaker like Zay on the field. If Zay does not play, I think the biggest challenge will be stopping the Tight Ends while being stout against the running game. 2 3 Quote

He was the ref when the Bills beat the Ravens during the COVID playoffs. He has done 3 Bills' playoff games, the Bills only loss over that span is the home loss to the Bengals. Perhaps that's the attitude being reflected by Roquan Smith who said that Bills O is easy to defend. If their entire team comes in believing that Bills are just happy to be here, then a couple of early Bills scores and a turnover by them will break they spirit irreversibly. I know we always wish for a fast start but in this case, it may be the game for us 2 Quote

Rather, he’s just being real. You know most of the QBs probably feel this way, but never say anything other than the standard platitudes. I’m fine with that approach, but I respect this position a great deal. I think there's some friendliness there for some of the top guys, and its a marketability tactic as well for other income that Lamar just doesn't have. If you want to be in more commercials? You should probably either share an agent, or be friendly with guys like Allen, Mahomes, etc. 1 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM Posted Thursday at 08:45 PM There's a pretty high standard that's been created for the Ravens to play to. I think they may just crumble under the pressure if it doesn't go according to script for them. 1 Quote

I'm saying he has no idea how his hand will feel on Sunday evening in that icebox. Wasn't there a clip on Hard Knocks a few weeks ago where Lamar was complaining about the cold and it was like 35 degrees out. 3 1 Quote

It was just weird, like he couldn’t say Josh was good without saying Lamar is good too. Most objective observers can appreciate that Lamar has been awesome this year too, but it doesn’t need to be pointed out when discussing topics not involving him. Thanks for the explanation 1 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted Thursday at 09:13 PM Posted Thursday at 09:13 PM So looking at the bills roster and the ravens the bills players have a drastic amount of more experience playing in and growing up in extremely cold weather. Not one Raven skill player that matters grew up in the cold weather Even many of their defensive players haven't Buffalo has not only a lot that grew up in this type of cold weather but have extensive experience in it.
