Texans strength is their D line: Will Anderson, Mario Williams and Danielle Hunter, plus they have depth. If they start getting to the QB it could be like when KC got demolished by the Bucs in the Super Bowl. I agree but I don't think Mario Williams is on the team given his age. Could be wrong though as the Texans team is the most boring team in the playoffs to follow. 6 Quote

YoloinOhio Posted Thursday at 11:28 AM Posted Thursday at 11:28 AM (edited) Derrick Henry is the Pat Surtain of this week. Meaning all I heard about last week was pat surtain this pat surtain that and no mention of Christian Benford. Meanwhile this week the focus has been entirely on Henry and how will the Bills stop him and no mention of James cook. Because a Josh Allen offense with this RB is a totally different breed too. Cook has been playing like marshawn lynch in his prime. Edited Thursday at 11:29 AM by YoloinOhio 7 1 1 2 Quote

Eisen said Henry/Lamar is the best QB/RB pair, no disrespect to Jalen Hurts/Saquan LMAO. Josh and Cook get no respect, but they are the best QB/RB combo in the NFL 2 1 Quote

stlbills13 Posted Thursday at 12:10 PM Posted Thursday at 12:10 PM Most ridiculous comment ive heard this week.....I was telling my wife this morning all about this game and how excited but also nervous I am. She responded by telling me I wasn't on the team. 8 Quote

Sorry for that, it seemed like a press conference, and I question the validity of it myself. He seemed agitated about being compared to Josh in the playoffs, which by the numbers of course favor Josh. Not much for posting links, but I'll try and see what I can do if I can find it again 1 Quote

The public has been showered with Lamar/Henry hype from all directions. From an hour before up to kickoff, that's when you'll see what the sharps are thinking. I think the line tightens then, and might even flip. 2 Quote

H2o Posted Thursday at 12:52 PM Posted Thursday at 12:52 PM Extremely nervous about this match up. Our defensive game plan is going to need to be executed flawlessly. Flowers is going to, in all likelihood, miss this game as well. That leaves the run game along with Andrews, Likely, and Bateman in the passing game. Our defense is at full strength this time. I believe this will make things different on the field. Our focus should be stopping the run, have a spy on Lamar at all times, and allow the back 4 to do their jobs. Discipline and execution will decide this game. We need to NOT miss tackles, and we don't need Hamlin or Rapp taking bad angles. Hold Henry under 100 yds while playing disciplined football and the Bills can get that big W. The offense needs to be able to get at least 4 yards a pop on the ground, win the time of possession game within the game, and get 7 instead of 3 when we get into the Red Zone. Mix in some screens early to slow down the pass rush. And Josh needs to take and hit the chunk plays when they are available. I think Knox and Kincaid are the keys in the passing game this week more than ever. I think we see more two TE sets this week than we've seen all year. The Ravens have allowed 18 TD's via TE this year. We have two more than capable TE's who can press them in the seams and on those 10-15 yard routes. We need to grind this game out and keep Josh upright in the pocket. Overall, I expect a much closer game. Something in the 24-20, 27-21 range. A one score affair. Hopefully, the guys we have on the field this time, especially on defense, swing the pendulum in our favor. Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted Thursday at 12:59 PM Posted Thursday at 12:59 PM Cover One had on a Ravens specialist who has heard that Flowers has an LCL injury which is normally at least a 3 week recovery time. If he's active it's likely hobbled and as a distraction 1 Quote

The fanbase and the franchise as a whole are becoming the scumbags of the league the Bengals and Ravens fans are the same. Maybe it is an AFC North thing - but the Steelers are so entitled because they won a lot 60 years ago and the poor Browns just aren't it. The Ravens and the Bengals fans have no other identity and squashed out by larger more relevant teams nearby. Neither has a relevant baseball team. The Capitals and Commanders outshine them. Cinci has to keep up with tOSU and the fact that it is the down river sewage plant of the the Ohio River. These two bases are worse than the Chiefs who are just arrogant. Quote

He said the gameplan is just get Allen to the ground. Thats it. Like its so easy to get Allen to the ground. Like it would be different for any other team if you got their QB to the ground lol. The dudes just a complete moron filled with Bills hate. Always has been. Yeah, after listening to him explain, that's what he meant. The phrasing you quoted means something different, it seems keyshswn misspoke? Then his next comment was more clear. But I don't think it was meant as an insult to Buffalo, he's basically saying that the Ravens defense just needs to stop Allen, which goes with what Bills fans use as a reason that Josh deserves mvp, that he has less help than Lamar.
