Von Miller combined with Rousseau and Oliver has been dominant, especially in big games and moments this year.

Rousseau is a modern Sean Jones or Charles Mann. That's absolutely a home run pick.

Don't underestimate the importance of fantasy football in how people look at things.  In my league Lamar out scored Josh by 77 points.  Henry outscored Cook by 78 points.  For a lot of people, that's all really know about football.  And for those people, the discussion is over - Ravens are better.

 

Frankly, if Jackson does get MVP, I think that is the biggest reason.

He's on the practice squad.  It's not so much about "inside info"; he hasn't been on the Ravens since September of 2023

It's about the fact that he's an actual QB who can throw, while also being relatively fast and agile.  His 40 time isn't blazing, but he has a good shuttle, and he's a lot faster than Mike White (5.06 40-time)

He also quietly had a cup of coffee with the Bills in August, so they're familiar with him.

It's my understanding that if a player carries out a fake and continues to act like they have the ball they are legal to hit. So hit him. Hard. Every time. Tell the refs you are doing it in your pregame pow wow so they are ready for it and just rock him every time he does it. He's not the biggest guy. I'm not suggesting you're trying to hurt someone, that's wrong, what I'm suggesting is you take some of the enthusiasm out of running those plays and carrying out those fakes. 

Pittsburgh put a nice hit on him and hurt his back. STOP HENRY!!! Make Lamar a QB. He looked totally different against Pittsburgh when Flowers went out of the game. Flowers was his YAC guy. Hill is his checkdown guy. Both dangerous

That was 14 weeks ago.   Both teams are better now. It’s a new season.  As we have discussed thoroughly, many factors are not factored in-Josh’s hand, 3 quality LB replacing backups, Cooper and Samuel, Von, we are home, we have revenge.  We were humiliated, Pro bowl snubs, and Josh will get robbed of MVP once again. They are going to prove who the real MVP is, and show everyone which Bills belong in the pro bowl. Josh and the Bills are on a mission to bring a championship to this “city of losers”.  

 

Bills have so much going for them in this game. The stadium is going to be deafening and freezing and electric and jubilant!

 

Every idiot is picking Baltimore.  Idiots are not smarter than Vegas.  And the idiots are crazy to get against Josh

 

Josh Allen is on a mission.  He’s heard it.  He’s felt it.  He’s taking names. And doing it with class.

 

IMO taking all of that into consideration,  

 

Bills will win impressively

 

 

Vegas set the line Bills -1.5.  Within 24 hours, heavy Ravens action flipped it to Ravens -1.5

I think after hearing Benford this team wins big.

The more I watch the Ravens/Steelers game, the more confidence I gain in the Bills winning. Must be sure tacklers though

My 0.6 cents: I just hope the game plan this week isn't overly conservative on both sides of the ball.  This is a tough matchup, we need advantages.  IMO our basic stuff against their basic stuff is a toss-up at best, and probably favors the Ravens.  (Obviously turnovers would be great.)

 

Put it all out there on offense, don't try to out-Ravens the Ravens.  Running the ball is necessary, but I don't think we can just grind it out on almost every first and second down.  No need for trick plays, but I do hope we'll be imaginative and show some things we haven't shown much this year.

 

On defense, I hope we try to disrupt the Ravens.  If we sit back we won't get many possessions.  I'd trade a couple big plays for multiple Ravens punts.

 

Finally, be awake when the Ravens are punting or lined up for a FG.  No more successful fakes please.

 

I dislike the Ravens more than any other team.  Bills need to win this game.

Week 4 we were aggressive in the 1st and 2nd half as the game rolled on. Hit that long throw later. Unfortunately, I thought there was too much panic in our short game where we reverted to some huck it deep 3 low percentage throws in a row and punt. Too aggressive imo, as exemplified by our disastrous trick play. 

 

Looking at those early drives, some drops and miscues made us panic too quick.

I can’t imagine how maddening it’s gotta be for all these guys to constantly hear that Josh Allen is the whole team and there’s a guy that’s more valuable than Josh simultaneously 😂

Beyond that, these guys love and respect each other and don't want to let him give his all.

 

This team is special and built strong. 

 

Maybe, just maybe, just now this year, McDermotts plant has grown, his bud is flourishing.

 

Let us hope he can rise to the occasion with his team.
