The 1 seed is WAY, wayyy too big of an advantage.

Look at some of the Chiefs paths to the Super Bowl recently...

Bye, Browns, Bills ---> Super Bowl

Bye, Jags, Bengals ---> Super Bowl

Bye, Texans (Bills/Ravens) ---> ???

Two of these years, they get a bye week, followed by a joke of a contender, followed by a game against the winner of the only other two teams that could beat them.

Win enough games in the regular season then to get that one seed.  With all due respect this comes across as whining.

I don’t think people betting on Ravens even take this into consideration.  The Bills are being severely underestimated

So lets continue to draft 8 sack or less guys and then overpay for a  Von Miller type because the ones we draft havent panned out.

Double digit sacks is a start. Leonard Floyd had better seasons than anyone of Rousseau or AJ. Heck, Kyle Vanoy who was sitting on a couch has had a better season then these 2 combined!

Oh and BTW, there are 27 other players this year that had more sacks to answer part of your question. I never said 17 sacks is the standard,  said double digit sack seasons.

17 players had double digit sacks.  What do you want out of a first round selection?  There’s just not that many double digit sack guys that you can say 8 is pedestrian or that there are double digit sack guys clearly available at the end of the first round. The intuitive next question is who would you have taken?  That’s why comparison to other players drafted at a similar spot matters.

Vegas knows everything. I thought the Bills would’ve been favored by 1. Lines could shift toward Buffalo if the weather is snowy and windy in addition to the bitter cold.

Yeah, his answer is going to be Creed Humphrey, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Nico Collins or Asante Samuel Jr.

Rousseau has been as dominant as one could be outside being Myles Garrett or Bruce Smith. Even tj watt is starting to break down and hasn't made a play in a month...

Von Miller combined with Rousseau and Oliver has been dominant, especially in big games and moments this year.

I feel like ppl want prime Bruce or DeMarcus Ware. That person doesn't exist lol.

And giving up the amount of draft capital with the risk that player gets hurt is a nightmare.

Rousseau is a modern Sean Jones or Charles Mann. That's absolutely a home run pick.

If a team is rolling the QB out, doing short drops, screens etc. the 85 bears aren't getting to the QB

Very rarely do teams do traditional drop backs vs buffalo. You know why? Because of Rousseau, Von and Oliver

Not only is everyone healthy but throughout the regular season we were definitely super cautious holding guys out that probably could’ve played to keep everyone healthy so it’s a double whammy.

These people betting on Baltimore-IMO the majority have a powerful tik tok short video of Henry blasting for long TD on the first carry in their memory.  That is their take away.  Ravens =tougher, Lamar MVP,ran over Bills.  It’s a lasting memory in those betting on Ravens.

That was 14 weeks ago.   Both teams are better now. It’s a new season.  As we have discussed thoroughly, many factors are not factored in-Josh’s hand, 3 quality LB replacing backups, Cooper and Samuel, Von, we are home, we have revenge.  We were humiliated, Pro bowl snubs, and Josh will get robbed of MVP once again. They are going to prove who the real MVP is, and show everyone which Bills belong in the pro bowl. Josh and the Bills are on a mission to bring a championship to this “city of losers”.

Bills have so much going for them in this game. The stadium is going to be deafening and freezing and electric and jubilant!

Every idiot is picking Baltimore.  Idiots are not smarter than Vegas.  And the idiots are crazy to get against Josh

Josh Allen is on a mission.  He’s heard it.  He’s felt it.  He’s taking names. And doing it with class.

IMO taking all of that into consideration,

Bills will win impressively

Vegas set the line Bills -1.5.  Within 24 hours, heavy Ravens action flipped it to Ravens -1.5

I’ve actually seen a bunch of Buffalo picks surprisingly haha used to love nflpickwatch but it requires a subscription now so I’m not sure of overall percentages but they’re out there

He is also one of the best run defenders and setting the edge players in the NFL. As a whole package he has been plenty good.

I think setting the edge, containing the run will be way more important on Sunday than sacking one of the league's least sacked QBs.

Why would anyone bet this game?  Seems  like it can go a lot of ways.

Josh Allen as a home underdog is an auto bet

I’d absolutely load the box and make Jackson make throws on the outside. The middle of the field is the only place Jackson wants to throw. I’ll give him 1 on 1 on the outside all day and beg him to make those throws. Don’t let the run kill you, don’t get on skates. Don’t let them run and don’t let him get the over the middle to the TEs and we are fine. This guy does not make difficult NFL throws. It’s literally play action seen or dudes wide open falling to catch. 8 in the box, go make throws and make their WRs beat our boundary CBs

You're 100% right, and without Flowers it hurts them even more

Give me Douglas and Benford on Bateman and Agholor on the outside and we'll keep eight in the box

Lamar has always struggled when he's seen something unusual from the defense that forces him to win with throws on the outside

McDermott should definitely be looking at schemes like this for Sunday, and if he's not, then he's doing the defense a disservice

The opening line from Vegas did have the Bilkscas 1 to 1.5 point favorites.

The bets that came in quickly moved the line in favor of the Ravens.

It's understandable for people to jump on a line favoring the Bills over the Ravens.  Public perception is not always accurate.

The moneyline isn’t even good value for either team…you can get Josh Allen scoring a td for the same odds as the bills or ravens winning pretty much lol

I kind of like Josh Allen 300 passing yards for +340. Ravens defense is good but I think they’re getting a bit overvalued with props like that.
