You’re still ignoring him being a TOP 10-15 PLAYER IN THE ENTIRE DRAFT CLASS!!!!!!

Only 3 guys selected after him have provided more value to their teams, and the Bills drafted one of them!

How is that a reach? There were literally only 3 other choices drafted in the 220(ish) picks taken after him that could have been better value than Rousseau.

Yes, but have you considered the following unassailable argument?

"McBeane Bad"

Checkmate

I’d absolutely load the box and make Jackson make throws on the outside. The middle of the field is the only place Jackson wants to throw. I’ll give him 1 on 1 on the outside all day and beg him to make those throws. Don’t let the run kill you, don’t get on skates. Don’t let them run and don’t let him get the over the middle to the TEs and we are fine. This guy does not make difficult NFL throws. It’s literally play action seen or dudes wide open falling to catch. 8 in the box, go make throws and make their WRs beat our boundary CBs

Man you’re really digging yourself a credibility hole. Step away and look at this roster and the amount of home grown, developed talent.  Early and later draft picks, udfa’s, depth and role players that have bounced around the league a little…this regime is one of the best in the league.
100% hit rate? Of course not. But WAY better than most teams

The guy wants us to draft a top 10 pick player with a bottom 4 draft pick.

Your still ignoring that I mentioned like 3 other guys besides him as well. Lets talk about AJ, Boogie and Elam. I will stand by my JAG comment until he has a double digit sack season.

AJ is perfectly fine pick in Round 2. Boogie and Elam are busts.

Holy *****!!! You cracked the ***** code, a NFL GM drafted a bust!!!!

Then you probably should stop watching football then because that makes zero sense and if that is your criteria then you don't actually know what you are watching anyway.

Asante Samuel Jr. ,Creed Humphrey, Nico Collins, Amon-Ra St. Brown are just a few that add much value that were taken well after him.

Why did the Bills lose the first game so badly? Take a look at the defensive snap counts for that game:

Spector 96%
Bishop 72% (rookie’s first NFL snaps)

Cam Lewis 72%

Carter 42%
Morrow 28%

Lewis, Spector and Morrow in particular I remember getting abused.

I know that we would not have overspent on Von if we had hit our DE draft picks. That much I can see with your eyes!

Based on what dude? Quick look at PFF says Asante Samuel grades as the 131st best CB in the NFL in 2024. Rousseau is grading out as the 12th ranked DE.

The metric I’m going by has Creed Humphrey and Amon-Ra above Rousseau, so I agree there. The 3rd player is Spencer Brown. Collins and Samuel are behind.

So yeah man, you picked out 2 guys of the 220 taken after Rousseau that are (and 2 that might) be more valuable.

Are you going to start making draft picks with the Grays Sports Almanac from Back to the Future?

This could be VERY good for Bills players when they get Lamar hemmed in...rip at the ball and it's got a much higher than normal chance to come out for a few reasons:

1) Cold weather significantly lessens grip strength of your hands

2) Football material becomes more rigid and slippery, surface area becomes harder to grip

3) Players wearing sleeves can make the ball even more slippery when it contacts that versus the skin.

There is a 35% increase in fumbles when temps dip to where they will be Sunday...

Attack the ball every chance they get.

Not sure why you're getting so deeply into a discussion of draft picks/Beane's decisions/defensive line hits and misses in a thread supposedly focused on the Bills Ravens game.  Whenever the offseason starts, we'll all have literally months and months to do this thoroughly!!  Why now, my friend, when you likely know it's going to piss a lot of people off and is going astray from the main purpose of this thread IMHO?

To beat the Ravens, this task takes the entire team. Not just 3 guys. Not just 1 guy with double digit sacks.

We took a beating from them early in the regular season. We got a lesson. The playoff game on Sunday will be drastically different.

Point taken my fellow poster.  I hope and Pray that we get to Lamar often and our DE's, or whoever it has to be keeps him contained. I dont think the Ravens can beat us with just Henry. If we score often, we should be able to pull out the win. If we beat the Ravens, i like our chances of beating KC in KC.
