Screw that!  I don't care if we win the Super Bowl because every other team gets Ebola and have to field kindergarten kids.   This notion that it only counts if we play every hard team at their absolute peak is nonsense to me.  
 

No one ever talks about all the cheating Brady and company did to get their titles.   No none talks about the cake walk schedules the Chiefs have had.  All they talk about is the super bowl wins.

This is the most likeliest of options for where they'll get to and makes the most competitive sense. 

So, your solution is to water it down even more?  I think what you’re suggesting is what the NFL wants and will do, soon.  But, no one really likes it other than the owners and TV execs.

 

I posted what I thought was a fairly simple solution that made things a bit more equal for the 2 seed.  Just have the 1 seed play the highest remaining seed after their bye.. not the lowest.  And give the 2 seed a breather and let them play the lowest seed in the WC and Divisional round.  They still don't have a bye, but they get a small plus for being #2.

But that's just it… good playoff teams don't roll out the same game plans from the regular season.  This is something I truly hope McD has learned and we continue to roll out new looks this week.  And I really hope they're smart enough to look at what the Ravens did last week, not what they did in week 4.    In particular, the things last week that they did just a few times, as though prepping a little.

Can you please let the Bills get beat before you continually bang the board with fire everyone posts?  Right now the Bills are still very much alive after one of the best seasons they've had in 30 years.  They demolished a playoff team last week.  Let us, please, enjoy that.  Why not focus our energy on this game and what can/should be done.  And then we can worry about what they need to do in the offseason..when we get to the offseason.  Patience .. you'll get to prove how smart you are in March.

Lol define consistently.  Cause only the chiefs have consistently made it further. Otherwise it’s pretty sporadic. Ravens (1 we didn’t get to play them) Bengals (2, once we didn’t get to play them).  These teams have also missed the playoffs recently.  We have run against the juggernaut of the AFC 3/4 losses so saying that other teams have gone further just means they played the chiefs later. We should def hold McD responsible for playing the chiefs so early the past 4 years. Sheesh

Our offense is ready for a Lombardi now.  Our defense needs some help.  If not this year then at least one of the next 3 years we will get there i think.  Assuming josh stays healthy.

 

As for last off season, the Bills had no money to spend.

I don’t like putting Shakir in harms way so much because of his value to the offense. I do feel that he is more sure handed, though Codrington has a great burst. He just makes me a little nervous with the way he carries the ball.

Chiefs have plenty of early round misses the last few years. Anudike-Uzomah looks pretty eh, their biggest need was OT and they’ve whiffed badly in back to back years early on wanya morris and suamata.  The jawaan taylor FA acquisition was pretty meh also. They also pretty rarely hit late in the draft.  The bills are getting as many big time contributors or more in every draft but everyone gets hung up on the round for some reason despite a very late first rounder being far from a sure thing historically.

 

2020 I’d say the chiefs were the best roster hands down and other teams bills included have closed the gap.  A 2 game playoff sample size of impossibly close games is just way too small to conclude anything since then
