Do you not think that coaching has a major part in that? I get that under MC D, we have enjoyed success as far as getting into the playoffs, but that is not the end game. The Steelers fans are not content with winning seasons, just like we shouldnt be content with just making it to the playoffs. Beane does not get a pass either! The only team thus far to "jump ahead" of us and make the Super bowl since Allen is the Bengals one time. Its been KC and nobody but KC in our conference. 1 2 Quote

Losing at home in the divisional round 3 years in a row would show that they're doing something definitively wrong. I know we've run into some juggernauts but it just can't happen again. The Ravens are good. Really good. But the hype around them has been a little crazy lately. If the defense ****'s the bed again then at the very least Beane and McDermott have to rethink their philosophy on how the defense should be built and plan accordingly in the draft/FA since Terry is probably not firing them so it will be up to them to fix it. This smaller finesse type of defense hasn't worked especially against physical teams. Stopping teams with bad offenses and bad QBs in the regular season is one thing but there are no bad teams in the playoffs. 2 1 1 Quote

These are the good old days my friend. McDermott is a great person and a really good Head Coach. His Defense needs to perform this postseason. They are healthy and there aren't any excuses. Yes, these are the good ol' days, but if we can't win a Super Bowl, let alone get to one... especially if Mahomes (obviously), Burrow and heaven forbid, Lamar get there... we have a major problem. This year is as good of a shot as we've ever had. Sure we'll have a small amount of money this offseason and decent draft capital, but there's no guarantees we're this healthy next year and every wasted chance is another year closer to us missing out on the Allen window. JA is still young, and hopefully we win it all this year, but the angst for some is very warranted. And not all, but most of us, really REALLY hope McDermott makes us eat crow. The teams were too good not to. Hard to be blamed for what you can't control in the other conference. Until this year, I think the AFC has been hands above the NFC in top end quality. 1 1 Quote

I dont hate McDermott. I am just stating the obvious. We have one of the best QB's in the NFL and there are teams that dont have what we have that make it to the show at least. We have 1- Conference championship that weve made it to with Josh and Diggs and a healthy Tre, Poyer and Hyde and we have not one SB appearance to show for it. I am not OK with mediocrity at all. This is our time, right now, not gonna ever accept having a healthy MVP caliber QB continue to just make the playoffs. Im not knocking anyone that is OK with being competitive, but just participating isnt enough for me and I fear that Pegula will run with the status quo until the well has run dry. 1 Quote

Rapp got a concussion tackling henry in the first quarter and johnson got an oblique injury at some point in the game. Can't remember when. Quote
Cray51 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago This game is incredibly important for McD. Beane is safe - he wont be fired regardless of outcome. If we get smashed by the Ravens, say 35-17 - there will be a LOT of call for Sean to be fired and maybe Brady promoted to HC. Personally, I'm not a fan of this, and I think Sean should 100% be the coach next season, however I could lots of call for change if we go a third year in a row without making the championship game 1 Quote

You can't waste JA forever. There are very few QBs as talented as JA who have never been to a SB, much less not won a SB. Quote

Straight Hucklebuck Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Jones 63% snaps Oliver 72% snaps Johnson 12% snaps Carter 46% snaps Jones and Oliver must have been washed out in that game because neither one of them had a recorded statistic. 1 Quote

Straight Hucklebuck Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Von will definitely play more this time around, no Spector is probably the biggest boost to the Bills defense. I mean this is it, like @SCBills said there aren't any excuses. At home, the defense is 100% healthy. It's as good as you're going to get. They have everyone at their disposal except Baylon Spector - and nobody wants to see him ever again on a football field for the Bills. Just now, Solomon Grundy said: Quinton Jefferson? Sestak4ever Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago One interesting thought is, maybe the Broncos are actually better than how they were perceived against us. They should have beaten KC twice, albeit one time minus Mahomes and other starters. With that being said, maybe we can handle the Ravens better than what we are currently thinking. Running the ball will be key. Early on in the Denver game when I saw us effectively running I figured we’ve got this game. Let’s run well and get a turnover or two. Go Bills!! 🏈 1 1 Quote
