Did you watch the Steeler game? He running the entire first half and look closely at his game logs he typically loses when he's asked to throw more than 25 times a game.

Bradshaw's numbers are embarrassing.  51.9% completion rate, average of 167 yards per game passing, QB rating 70.9. Even in that era it's terrible considering who he had playing with him.

The key to stopping Lamar is limiting his snaps, or a great pass rush. His in the pocket numbers are 2nd best to Rodgers 2011…

Sorry this is gonna be a little long 😂. Feel free to skim:

‘…against teams still in it right now’ you left off there haha like beating the Bucs of the league is great but doesn’t mean much of anything as you get further in the playoffs was my point.  Those teams may have made the playoffs but they are average teams or worse and a regular season win over one of those isn’t any more meaningful than an unexpected loss to a team like the raiders is.   I don’t think the ravens were even top 10 in SOS but most places are ranking teams SOS based on advanced metrics and not wins so you’ll get different results based on where you look.  

I think this afc east thing gets overblown a tad…like obviously there’s truth to it for sure but it’s getting exaggerated a bunch. Miami with tua ain’t any worse than pit imo and we got them with tua x2.  nfl elo has pit and Miami ranked 18th and 19th in the league 
 

if we blew one of our regular season games against them like Baltimore did with pit they would’ve been 1 off pits win total even with an absolute backup qb clown show  for 6 games.    Yea obviously cincy is considerably better than the jets but Cleveland is dogsh*t and Cleveland starting DTR or Zappe at qb and the corpse of Donta foreman at rb is probably the worst team in years 

 
it’s just a weird argument to even bring up sweeping the afc east when the ravens lost two division games to afc east equivalent teams which is why they’re on the road for this one and the bills had an extra week to rest starters

Its relatively simple to beat the Ravens and we have an offense that can do it.

1- Force either Lamar or Henry to beat you, cant let them both get off. Play a 4-3 and spy Lamar. Crash both him and Henry. Play up with your corners and have 1-safety stay on Andrews no matter what. If we change up our defensive philosophy a little, Harbaugh wont be able to adjust. He's shown the inability to adjust in their loses this year.

2- Score TD's when in the Red Zone. Do not accept FG's like we did against Denver. The way to do this is to keep their defense honest with a balanced Rushing attack with both Josh and Cook. Josh will have to have a minimum of double digit attempts and I'm not talking about QB sneaks. Test them deep with Cooper and Shakir often as well. Slant patterns is a key to doing this. Brady doesn't run enough short slants to the middle of the field. I would do this with Knox.

 

They are relying on us running the dink and dunk screens and rushing Cook. They will not be prepared for us to consistently attack them deep. I know we lack the speed, but there always hope for PI's to be called. Again, if we do some unique QB roll-outs and draws, this will force them to the outside more, which will open up the middle of the field.

Before Henry he was. To his core, he is. But he's matured and graps the options he has. He didn't deserve MVP last year. Josh did. He does deserve it this year.

His playoff numbers are arguably all time for his time period. 

 

Go rewatch the games. He was great in the playoffs. He's considered one of the best playoff QBs ever. Especially in bad weather

baltimore runs a heavy package with that giant fb,  7 guys over 300# along w lamar, henry, andrews, and a wide out or the other TE.

 

we will need discipline and dorian's savagery at its best to win.  he made some nice plays but got burned a bit in the first game, but the more i review the game log, the more i realize the offense made the biggest contributions to our loss.  we just gotta score baby!

Not necessarily whales, but the sharps. Those are the betting pros. They typically start coming in day of the game

This is a big part. Lamar gets tons of time to throw and his WRs do a great job in finding open field. They also have TE's that can get to the flat and sit down quickly or just as fast turn up down the seam. 

 

I really like what they can do with Zay Flowers who i liken to SJ13. He is in his perfect system.

I thought its the opposite, that sharps are on a line early and sports books will actually use sharps as guidance on a line.
