Does anyone dispute Lamar and King as the best QB/RB duo? Honestly, a 3x MVP QB and The King.

Last year Josh had much better numbers than Lamar, and they said Lamar meas more to his team.

This year Lamar has slightly better numbers, Josh means more to the Bills, yet Lamar wins again.

They keep moving goalposts to award Lamar MVP

I will take Josh Allen and James Cook all day over Lamar/Henry

Slightly better? It’s a 4th best season all time for a QB.

Don’t shoot the messenger.  I don’t give a ***** what any idiot on TV says. I’m just reporting the continued disrespect the Bills and Josh get.
I’m a contrarian.  All these idiots slobbering over the Ravens, and underestimating Buffalo makes me believe even more the Bills thrash the Ravens

I'm not shooting anyone. Just wondering why anyone cares what other people say. There are other teams besides the Bills and other players besides Allen and everyone has a different opinion.

Do you understand context?  Bills were a wrecking ball, and Mitch Trubisky was often the QB in the 4th quarter.  Bills offense took their foot off the gas.  Allen’s numbers would of surpassed Lamar if games were closer.

Iconic- what’s Lamar’s iconic moment this season?  Josh scoring on 4th and 2 to win against the Chiefs.  Josh diving for pylon against Niners.  Josh hitting Ty in the back of the end zone on 4th and 1 in the playoffs.

Would you trade Josh straight up for Lamar?  Checkmate

Look it’s 2 wins vs playoff teams all year, I’m not here to disparage but it’s night and day the competition.

afc east is dog water for whatever reason

I would never give up Lamar at all, he is insane.

Iconic moments? Dude extends plays left right and center and scores TDs due to it, 2x vs the bengals (sorry borrow), he did on Christmas vs the Texans, 9 yard TD run vs the bills untouched. 65 yards TD vs the broncos at half, perfect passer rating game (record for most all time), Jackson 5 vs the bucs (158.1), yada yada.

I really appreciate your points of views and the great back and forth conversation you've drummed up over here.  It's always great to get some cordial insight from an opposing teams fan before a big game.  I think Lamar is incredible and I put him right up there with Paddy and Josh and to me they are all amazing players with elite skill sets.  It's too bad most people (fans and media included) like to debate these guys to death and compare and contrast them instead of enjoying their individual greatness for what it is.  We are watching some amazing QB play right now and I can't wait to see what Allen and Jackson do this Sunday.  Of course I hope the Bills win but if you guys get the W, I will be pulling for you to take down KC and end their reign of terror!!

Go Bills!!

I have a very close friend who’s a big bills guy, he went to the last Jets game. Was even on some of your social media post game. Love it.

I think the media has played a lot of our fan bases for clicks, Josh and Lamar are nuts, someone on reddit said it’s like choosing the terminator or John Wick. I find that apt.

Josh runs over teams left right and center, Lamar has that sexy way of killing every team. It’s a cool comparison.

F KC, this is the real Super Bowl

The Ravens are a legit great team and I also believe they're playing their best football right now. Lamar, who was already great, has been able to take it to an even higher level with the addition of Henry. That's not a knock on him. That's how it works for QB's in the NFL, Josh included this year with the emergence of Cook.

For me the game comes down to either team getting off the field on 3rd down and the turnover battle. I know that's most football games but this is a game where you cannot let the opponent extend drives and where you have to steal a possession or two. Kyle Hamilton and Terrell Bernard feel like they may be just as important in this one as Josh and Lamar.

If I had to pick one QB to single handedly win a game where every single other thing goes wrong, I would take Josh Allen. We'll see if it comes down to that though.

I agree. If anything I think the Ravens are a better run game/QB combo. Lamar’s legs plus Henry carry them in that ranking.

I still say Allen is the better all around QB by a decent margin even though Lamar’s passing game is under rated.

But again Henry and the run game > a very good Cook is carrying the load for both pairings

Somebody mentioned Philly above. Barkley is lights out but I am very “meh” on Jalen Hurts. Once his contract comes due on the cap, the Eagles are toast. No way they’re in the top pairing for anything.

I hate that new follow-through / fade away / whatever you wanna call it that Lamar has been doing this season every time he “knows” he tossed a TD. It’s lame. This isn’t basketball.

So how exactly do you quantify the "4th best season all-time" for a QB?

I've been watching this sport for over 35 years, and I wouldn't put Jackson's season anywhere near the top I've ever seen.

As with the MVP debate, the argument against Jackson keeps coming back to Derrick Henry.  I've probably seen a dozen Ravens games this year.  And in my opinion, Henry is clearly the primary driver of that offense.  He is the guy defenses are most concerned about stopping.  The games he didn't play good were the games they struggled the most in.

Stats never tell the whole story.  As someone who watched Peyton Manning throw 55 touchdowns in one season from the pocket (using nothing but his brain and his arm)... I just can't be that impressed watching Jackson taking advantage of 7 guys playing in the box and casually tossing the ball 25 yards downfield to guys who aren't even covered.

Quarterback rating wise.

Lamar has the longest extended play margin in nfl history. It’s not 8 guys in the box and him hoping someone is open it’s him extending plays.

the ravens have one win when Lamar doesn’t have a 114 passer rating and that was the last game of the season

also 82 (81.8%) of Henry’s yards are when the game is level or the ravens have a lead.

The offense will get all the headline and the radio guys will tell you the opposite but we are going to go as the defense goes. The defense is why we lose every year. The offense is a borderline all time great. They have done it for us, they will continue to do it. You are going to go as far as this defense allows. It’s been since time for McDermott to carry his own weight. We need 1 month of lights out football from our defense. That’s how we get the ring. We played 1 game so far and they were good. If they play well again we will most likely win this one. We are going to go as the defense goes. Regardless of popular belief. It’s not Josh vs Lamar. It’s our defense not losing us the game

Correct, in this game it’s the defense that will decide it for either team.

Baltimore had the worst pass D until they decided to cut Jackson, Bench Williams and put Hamilton in a 2 high look with Washington.

Night and day change, since week 11 the best d in every category, wtf happened to Marcus idk.

think the ds will be huge come game time even though Josh and Lamar are gonna generate all the clicks

did he really? I must have missed it…

personally, I’d just love to see him do that only for the receiver to drop the ball, or better yet, get picked off.

Granted, the latter would be unlikely considering he only does it when his receiver is wide open in the end zone (like most of his td’s, come to think of it)
