If they "flipped the last few games" playing the Bengals and the Chiefs and the Lions, that would be impressive.

 

The other thing to remember is that in (I think) all but one of the Ravens wins, they get out early and take a nice lead into halftime.  So the other team is chasing them and trying to pass all over the place.

Fair point but there’s a change there is the simple point. Going from almost dead last to the top of the table isn’t just luck, surely?

Especially if they, like you said, have a lead and a team is chasing them via the pass. 
 

Do I think they’re a top passing ddefense? No but they aren’t anywhere near the bottom anymore when games have still followed that narrative.

To me this will be the toughest game in getting to the Super Bowl. I know KC will be tough (assuming they beat the Texans) especially at Arrowhead. But I think playing them at Arrowhead will still be an easier matchup then the Ravens even though the game is in OP. I think the winner of this one goes to the Super Bowl.

Biggest day of the week. Referee assignments this afternoon. There is one and only one referee we are looking to avoid. A certain guy who hates the Bills who had a jacked father who was also an NFL referee.

I just keep worrying about Bass and if it comes down to the kicking game again. I really wish they would've made a change at kicker last offseason

The team might be but the fans might be some of the dumbest in the league and this is coming from someone used to Miami fans. Not only do they think they are worlds better bc of the game earlier this season (variables not withstanding with these folks), and never mind they lost to two of the worst teams in the league this year…Yesterday someone tweeted that bc Brandon Stephens has been such a nightmare at corner that they need to play a washed Tre white in his place because he knows all of Buffalo’s plays inside and out. Who wants to tell him that’s probably not the case.

It is not my job to find a more reliable kicker, it is Brandon Beanes.

 

I'm just a fan who has watched Bass blow opportunities in big games and I am nervous cause we have another big game that could very well come down to a field goal or extra point. The opponent has perhaps the greatest kicker of all time and we have Bass again

It's a knee, not an ankle, injury for Zay.

 

Speculation is a LCL sprain, based on replay of the injury.  But there is nothing out there official.  

 

Harbaugh says it's not season ending/no surgery/Zay is locked in on rehab.  All that points most likely to a Grade 1 LCL sprain. 

 

If he plays this week, that range of motion won't be fully back yet.  For a shifty player who runs a lot of crossers/depends on his ability to stop and start, make strong cuts- its going to limit him a decent amount.

 

If it was strictly pain tolerance, guessing Zay would've been out on field vs Steelers. Even Grade 1 LCL sprains make you susceptible to re injury or worse outcomes (ie: fully tear), if you come back too soon without the stability.

As somebody who worked as a coach in an open water sport for a long time it is generally true. Certainly not a hard and fast rule, but it is true more often than not.

Worst water of the day is traditionally 12-4pm-ish. 

 

It is because of the change in temperature as the sun warms up the day.

True. I doubt he gets assignment two weeks in a row though. So who can we hope for ? Brad Allen ? Clete? I wouldn’t be happy if it was Torbert or Hochuli that’s for sure.
