All I know is that if Josh takes over this game, the MVP voters have to feel stupid. Giving a QB 3 MVPs and all pros when the dude hasnt made the superbowl and has only made 1 AFCCG. They made that by default for getting the 1 seed.

This game will not be easy and it’s sports. Anyone can lose to anyone. But there are no more excuses. We have used up every bit of feel good. This is our 5th or 6th real shot at it, it’s time. I don’t care who they have. I don’t care who is waiting. We are the best team in the league with the best player in the sport. Get 1. Find a way to go on the run. The run that locks this team in the fabric of nfl history.
 

Win one. And do it this year. Get it over with then we can spend the rest of Josh’s career having fun with house money. The defense and the coach both need to step up and do this. The QB and the offense have given us a shot 5 times already. Now we need a month of lights out defense. That’s not asking to much and it’s exactly what it’s going to take. The Broncos game is what we need from them. Make stops and keep our own offense on the field. The offense got us here for 6 straight years. The defense owes us one.

And you know it’s the dorkiest of the voters (Sam Monson-PFF, Florio, Mina Kines, Dianna Russini) that put their entire focus on the stats rather than actually understanding the physical and mental dynamics occurring on the field.  Along with placating the crybaby Raven fans.

The two outliers there are games where he broke a very long TD run.  Gotta maintain gap discipline and prevent that from happening.  I unfortunately was at the game at Tennessee where Josh slipped in the QB sneak at the end and lost.  I remember the long TD run happened when I was in the bathroom.

The Bills are as close to 100 percent healthy as a team can be at this point of the season.  We have a third-string RB who might not play and a backup o-lineman who prolly will play.  The Ravens’ top receiver is doubtful.  Get a grip.

It's not a narrative. I just looked up their injury report and was surprised they had so few. Do you think I am using it as an excuse for the team to perform badly? I'm not. I just found it interesting. The Bills are as healthy as they have ever been in the playoffs.

They only allowed two possessions or less of scores 8x

 

Buffalo has scored 30 points 12x this year 

They have only allowed two possessions or less of scores 6x. Again this is historically great. 

 

Washington in 91 allowed 9 sacks the entire year 

Buffalo has allowed 14 sacks all year while slightly passing more. Again this is a historic power/ dominance metric

 

Buffalo with most of their starters and these metrics go up even higher obviously.

 

 

 

This is great research and thanks for sharing... however keep in mind that the difference is a 16 game versus 17 game schedule so the 8 win parameter is different.

This game is critical because it's the next step to the next round. 

 

In the end, no SB win=a failed season. With Allen, that's just the way it is.

 

 

Super Bowl appearances seem to be worth a little something but I largely agree.  This game is getting hyped up to be THE game of the playoffs but whoever wins will quickly get the ‘yea but they can’t beat mahomes’ treatment

He’s stubby and isn’t a coverage linebacker. Backs and Tight Ends should be able to put all three Baltimore inside linebackers in the spin cycle. 
 

On Coleman - yeah I don’t see much of a mismatch for the Bills. The routes are leggy, it’s slow, they’re too deep. WGR had the stat - something to the effect of he’s been targeted on go-routes 19 times and he’s only caught 5 of them. As I have said before it also puts pressure on Allen to place the ball perfectly so that he can minimize turnover risk. 

 

Cooper (if healthy and mentally right) needs to be on the field - his usage has been weird all year. It’s put up or shut-up time going forward for him.

 

So far this year it’s almost always been enough on offense - maybe they can run on the Ravens, use quick hitters and make their big plays through RAC and scramble drills. Just wondering on the outside if it’s enough. 

 

 

 

Why would you suggest Cooper isn’t “mentally right”?   Or even unhealthy. 
 

I think his involvement, like most everyone on the offensive side, is dependent upon the game plan each week for the opponent.  The Bills don’t have a true #1, but they’ve proven most all season that they don’t need one.

None of them have designations, other than Davis, meaning they are good to go and healthy to play. Bills have been very liberal with their use of injury reporting this year, ala Belichick.
