No, the median is a single data point standing in the absolute middle of an entire set, with exactly half of the quantity of results above it, and half the results below it. 

 

Means can be easily skewed to be much closer to the top or bottom depending on distribution and magnitudes and blah blah blah. Billionaires and millionaires skew household income avgs higher, whereas social media sports reply guys skew intelligence avgs lower.

I think having him as a decoy is as effective as using a #4 or 5 but at the same time they have to look long term if they win. 

 

I'm surprised he will not be playing but at the same time think it's best.
