plenzmd1 Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Just got back from Vegas and Gandy was out there with a bunch of boys from his ND football team. Played agaisnt one of the guys in poker. Met Gandy later, alked to him for about 10 minutes. Hes pumped for the year, wished him luck, and told him I thought Shellton sucked and I'm glad we went with him. He laughed, said I was full o chit, and he knows all the Bills fans are concerened about him, but that hes ready to go and he loves working with McNally. Really nice guy, and a really nice group of guys. Saw him and his whole crew later that night, about 2.00am. Lets just say the boy was feeling no pain. BTW, we were at Mandalay
MadBuffaloDisease Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Good story. Gandy telling you you were FOS was funny and telling, because it seems he has a grasp of the situation. And how did you know it was him? Despite him being a concern of every Bills fan, I'd have to say that I wouldn't be able to pick him out of a police lineup (of other huge men), much less a casino.
MrLocke Posted June 27, 2005 Posted June 27, 2005 Good Stuff. I think Gandy will be fine at LT this season. McNally knows what he is doing as I think he got alot out of the line last year. Fewest times Bledsoe was ever sacked and Willis probably would have run for atleast 1500 yards last season if he started every game last season. I think Jennings was only an above average LT, so I think Gandy will be a capable replacement.

But I was at a poker table with one of the guys in the group, saw him a little later playin black jack, and Gandy was playing with him.

Fan in San Diego Posted June 28, 2005 Posted June 28, 2005 I was in Vegas this weekend as well and came across a kid wearing a Joe Cribbs jersey. I introduced myself as a Bills Fan and we chatted about the upcoming season a bit. I havn't heard anyone mention Joe Cribbs in a long time. This was a really young kid too. I wonder how he even knew about Joe Cribbs? I was at Binions or the Fremont downtown when I bumped into the Cribbs fan.
