Having great QBs makes NFL more awesome to watch.  Bring on the challenge.

It's going to make all Qb's in the future pale.  Good thing I'm old.

Ok, now that the game is over, let the cat out of the bag. WHOTF were those guys playing Defense for the Bills??

Really timed those run blitzes well.

Toughest run defense test is coming up and our offense will need to come out on fire vs Baltimore to help our D.

Our best path to winning that one is forcing them into more of a one dimensional offense chasing a few scores.

You have a choice to have either QB to lead your franchise.  Who would you choose?

Depends on the team around them. They both are good fits for their teams. Baltimore has a slightly better RB but the Bills have more receiving talent. So Lamar does more with less around him.

Not that your overall point is wrong but it irks me a bit that people have been talkin up Denver all week then we win and it’s a ‘who cares’ lol

Not me I’m thrilled. They scored right out of the gate and the Bills completely shut them down over 60 minutes like an absolute bully. It wasn’t perfect but they wore them down and dictated everything after that initial score. It was a total statement win by the bills. And unlike the Steelers who the ravens only beat by 14, the broncos were coming in hot playing their best football.

He was playing back up last week who probably didn't game plan much.

Buffalo played third backups and lost. Denver floored kc backups and suddenly everyone was picking Denver to upset Buffalo. That was a joke! But nix looks like he has a great career ahead of him.

Where the Bills won (of several where).....the fake punt did not rattle them. They were able to overcome it and forced the Broncos to punt.

* overcoming fake punt

* Missed FG at end of the 1st half

* 2 back to back 3 and outs in the 3rd quarter while the Bills scored twice....

* TD catch by Johnson

* Two tough catches by Knox to move the chains

Thinking I should stay off the board this week.  I'm sure it will be nothing but fear the Ravens talk.  My advice - enjoy the run!

It is the playoffs and we  cannot fear anyone.  You have to play like you want that big trophy

The clock was stopped by penalty, no?

Play clock.  See, an offense only has 40 seconds to snap the ball.  This prevents a team to just bleed the clock for very long periods of time.

Basketball has something similar.  You have 10 seconds to bring it past half court.  Half court is the dividing line of a full court.  Equal of course.

They also have a 24 second clock in which you have to get a shot off and at least hit the rim.

As far as soccer…no one cares.

But the game clock was stopped?

Our D tightened up and we were able to flip the script on them.

Good game that took a lot of patience to pull away in the second half.

The Bills crushed the TOP with effective runs.

Hard to put up points cooling your heels on the sideline while the other team is churning out 1st downs.

I’d take Henry, flowers, Bateman,Likely, Andrews over what the bills have 100% of the time and it’s not even close personally.  If we want to cherry pick WRs specifically it’s pretty close.

to me Lamar is doing a little more with more.  The bills supporting cast is definitely underrated though but Baltimore is a tier above imo

A good start would be not taking the ball to start the game (and punting right away) if they win the toss.

and finally involving our TEs in the passing game.  The catches made by them was very critical

Almost lost in the mix is a very well called game by McD and staff.

The use of time outs, rushing to snap the ball when Kincaid's catch looked iffy...when to gamble when not too.

The defense went into a shell for a while giving up 1st downs by the bunches and it felt like McD had seen enough and got that group refocused.

We fans have been critical and rightly so of some calls, so we also have to give out the kudos and recognize when they do a very good job managing a game.

This had me look at some stats.  W/L playoff records home/away:  Kelly: 8-3/1-5; Allen: 6-2/0-3.  That #1 seed is important. No Bills QB has ever had more than 1 away playoff win.

just curious - which is the road playoff game the Bills won?

Well yeah, that one drive where Denver rolled down the field on Nix runs they had taken the spy off and gone limp zone again, bam bam bam. Timeout, spy back on Nix, suddenly it's turnover on downs. How about that, who woulda thunk.
