Belicheck is a great coach but struggled greatly in the FO role, especially later in his career. Wait and see how Wolf's draft looks in a year or 2, and see how they do this year. The team was short on talent due to Belicheck. No logic? It's a fact. Long dynasties lead to long term failure. Its the way of the NFL. I have no doubt or fear of being wrong. The Patriots are just another losing team for decades. Even if a season is above .500. They'll lose early in playoffs. It's over. Vrabel is just a another coach. So because "dynasties" in the past struggled afterwards means that all will going forward. It all depends the FO and coaching. If they operate at a high level, they'll be good. If they don't, they won't. Even Belicheck struggled after orchestrating the dynasty. Quote

It's only a high level. It depends on - will the NFL allow it. And History has shown they don't. Miami 2 of 3 SBs and perfect season. Even with Marino, they got nothing. Browns owned the 40s to 60s. Nothing since. The Patriots are done. And why are you being pro Patriots in the first place lol. You want them to fail in Buffalos division. Make up your mind Quote

True. The NFC actually won the head-to-head this season, first time in awhile. The AFC elites are just as good as the NFC's, but the bottom of the AFC is worse than the NFC bottom. Quote
Chugga Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago This is a great hire for the Patriots. The Bills seemingly always are working towards building a team to beat the Chiefs. But the way Vrabel likes to play football, the team is geared very heavily towards beating Buffalo. I’m not sold on Maye yet and I don’t expect the Patriots to luck into a Derrick Henry anytime soon, but Vrabel & New England is a good pairing. Quote
Simstim Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They should have hired him last year. Good hire anyway. Annoyingly Quote
Doc Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Unless/until he can get another Derrick Henry in his prime, I won't worry. 1 Quote

Vrabel might a really good coach, but the Titans years were a major fluke with Henry’s out of this world talent. He has yet to demonstrate the ability to win without an elite ground and pound attack. I don’t think Vrabel is bad, but the success in Nashville doesn’t necessary match reality. Edited 4 hours ago by SirAndrew 1 Quote
The Jokeman Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago His choice of assistants will be interesting especially his OC to work with Maye. Quote

They are now #2 in our division. I don't he ***** us over in the Covid year, whatever your opinion on the virus and restrictions doesn't really matter, he ***** us screwing around with it when all the teams had to follow the same rules and it screwed our schedule for at least two weeks. Also his teams have always been chippy as hell. Quote

blacklabel Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't mean to be rude but I kinda just always laugh when I see takes like, "I'm concerned" or "this is bad for the Bills." Really? I mean.... I don't give a crap who hires who. Bills whomped Vrabel's Titans teams a few times. New England, Maye, blah de barf blahhhhh. 1 Quote
