Big Turk Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Good hire. Could have them ready to compete in the division as soon as 2026 but 2027 is more likely. 2 Quote
Dr. K Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Under Vrabel the Pats could become a problem for Buffalo. Quote

Coach meathead will have that team disciplined and they will play smart football. Pair him with Maye, and they will Be back in business in a year, unfortunately. Quote
Jerome007 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Regardless of Vrabel, which already scares many of us ha ha, it's crazy how competitive the AFC is! Cheaps, Burrow, Lamar and on and on. Even Nix could develop into a dangerous one. Quote

His teams never did much in the playoffs, but that was with the likes of Ryan Tannehill at QB. Maye looks like a good one and Wolf is an experienced GM. They now have a possible path to being a good team. I prefer to see them foundering, but looks like they may be competitive soon. Who mentioned scared? I did 😁 Quote
Man with No Name Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Vrabel is good but hard to say how good. He got to ride prime Derrick henry for several years. and if Josh Mcadaniels is brought in to run the offensive, im starting to wonder if he has always been quite a bit overrated. Tom Brady didn't exactly fall off a cliff without him. Quote
DCofNC Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I’m only surprised in the fact they didn’t hire him last year, when they should have. That team will be decent this coming year with Maye and a pretty decent draft slot, they should be able to make things happen. I’m not 100% sold Maye is going to be great, but he’s looked good enough to think he can be. Quote

Eliot Wolf has been a GM for exactly one year. 1 Quote

Success Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago "Glory days" hire. Solid coach, but not great. Everyone says he took a team w/ Tannehill at QB to the playoffs - but Tannehill was basically playing at an elite level a few of those years. 1 Quote

GETTOTHE50 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Atleast they didn’t hire Ben Johnson. Looks like he will be hired in the NFC thankfully Quote
Kenosha2Buffalo Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) remember when he tried that field goal after the guy missed 47 in a row that day ? ya im not scared of meathead Edited 6 hours ago by Kenosha2Buffalo Quote
NickelCity Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Wouldn't at all be surprised to see them finish second in the division next year. Definitely have the best position as a franchise out of our AFC opponents. Quote
KingBoots8 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I mean, one of these dumpster fires had to make a smart move eventually. We all knew it wouldn’t be the Jets given their owner and market, and Miami decided to get high on HOPEium and stay the course as the team falls apart and has more questions than answers. NE has a long road ahead to get relevant but Vrabel is likely a guy who can get them into wildcard shape within a season or two. Eventually one of them will get it right, but I don’t think they’ll do more than steal a few wins here and there within the division. They’ll hurt Miami and the Jets before they cause us problems. Low Positive Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Apparently you can’t coach the Pats if you didn’t play there. When they fire Vrabel in 2 years because no amount of coaching can fix that roster, do they hire Rodney Harrison? Quote
