Scott7975 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I was only half listening so what I heard could be completely wrong, but I heard Sal say something about practice FG kicks dying out before they got there on one of the stadium sides. I coulda heard wrong though I was half tuned out doing something else. Quote
Special K Posted January 12 Posted January 12 There was an old NFL commercial that said: "The Playoffs are where moments are made..... What's next??" Looking forward to seeing "What's next"!! Go Bills!!!!!!! 1 Quote

In the preseason Grable had clearly established himself as the primary swing tackle. So once he was back from injury he was back in that spot. The Bills must really like him. They could have given him a red shirt year and no one would have batted an eye, but they made it a point to activate him from IR. Yep. Still surprised about the late switch as it seems uncharacteristic, but I'm definitely happy with our tackle prospects. Quote

Grable may be a better emergency fill-in at Guard than Vandy based on what some posters have said. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Ok guys. The nerves are really settling in. Playoff football is both the best and worst of times. 7 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Odd Carter is inactive. I think I'd rather have him over Jefferson. McD tends to have deference towards the veterans though. VanDemark not dressing is interesting. Leaves them a bit thin at OT. I might have sat VanPran instead. Still not sure why you elevate a PS guy and then make them inactive. The game check for a playoff game isn't that much. I guess it is more than a PS check though. Quote
Ralonzo Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Ok, this story on ESPN pregame about the birth of the Mafia, with Schefter retweeting Stevie Johnson from a decade earlier and #SchefterBreakingNews as a response... this is pretty great. 1 1 Quote
Scott7975 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I have confidence in Shakir fielding punts and not making a mistake. I just hope he doesn't get injured. 1 1 Quote

dma0034 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Pardon My Take posted that Sean Payton is 30-12 against bald coaches so that's a wrap today 🤣 1 Quote

The risk of guys getting hurt returning punts is overstated. Many teams put key offensive and defensive starters back to return punts, although admittedly not as often as they used to.
