The Steelers aren't putting up any kind of fight on either side of the ball and it's only 14-0 at the half.

What I'm trying to say is: Go Bills.

And I agree that he probably didn’t need to do it, still likely would have had it

He would have at least had a shot at it without pushing off. Clearly a guy pressing to try and make a big play. Steelers just getting run over, not sure if this is a sign that Baltimore looks good or just that the Steelers have run out of gas.

I honestly dont know how Pitts keeps winning 10+ games a year with terrible QBs. Its insane how bad they are but they keep doing it.

Tomlin is a great coach, that's the reason.

That's why he's so conservative. Lean on D and try to play clean and hope your QB can finally make a play

And why should they?

this is basically the best version of Greg Roman. It’s actually a brilliant plan.

Makes you also think how much better that ravens might have been with Roman, but coupling Lamar with a HOF unicorn RB.

The only way to stop Baltimore's offense is to put pressure on them by scoring on their defense.   If you can come out and throw the ball around and score points, it puts pressure on their offense to throw.  If you can't score and let them play ball control offense this is what you're going to get.    People keep saying Baltimore is a bad matchup for Buffalo, but I am pretty sure Buffalo is the last team in the AFC that can beat Baltimore.

i love how mike tomlin never bears any responsibility for having a miserable offense every year.

I feel like if it were anyone else they would get killed across the board for what the pitt offense seems to do every year.  Then there is the issue of all the offensive players they draft are mental.

Remember when Pittsburgh was winning this division and tied with the Bills for the #2 seed? That was roughly a month ago. Seems inconceivable now.

Sure does. Their offense went on hiatus a month ago

Pittsburgh's run game is not scaring anyone.

They need to wake up and put together a long drive. They already screwed up royally giving the lead to the Ravens.

They are going to pound and option it to death now

This will be their 5th consecutive loss, so I think they ran out of gas a while ago.

And hit him as hard as possible every RPO.

That would be nice, he already got a knee to the kidney. Looking at those replays, Watt and Wilson are not on the same page defending the edge. They are both doing the same thing instead of splitting inside/outside responsibilities. Hope they get that stopped.

I don't get Steelers philosophy of crashing their ends on every run on the read option.

If you do that, you better have a linebacker or safety accounting for Lamar- which they haven't for the most part

I guess they don’t think Lamar is the MVP on the Ravens. Perhaps they think him taking more hits helps their chances

but it was a pathetic half from PIT

Continuity in coaching, TJ Watt and a lot of other talented defensive players, and a few pieces on offense. Steelers need to figure out their QB situation, Russ as a stop gap vet wasn't the worst but dam you need to find a longer term QB because you need to put up points in the NFL and they haven't had a QB since Big Ben.
