its important to realize that the two defenses are causing this game to be ugly like this.

Personally I wouldn't have thought it was enough to overturn the call on the field. the ball does contact the ground but I don't see it move at all on any replay, despite the claim of "no firm control" which would see to be mutually exclusive but there you go. Whatever the Shield wants.
