QLBillsFan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago About time Herbert plays up to the hype. What kind of response would media have about Josh if he had Herbert’s career so far ? Quote

The Bills need a dynamic guy on the edge and a big giant unmovable 340 LB trash can full of dirt at the 1 tech to shut down the run. If Buffalo had these two things the defense would be among the best in the league. Here is to hoping this draft brings us some great defensive players. fwiw Oliver does not get doubled at a very high rate at all compared to other DTs 1 1 Quote
Buffalo Dude Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’m an idiot. I have been actively watching the Steelers / Ravens game on the NFL network - thinking it was a playoff game. clapping and yelling in my backyard - for a game that’s already happened. Agh! Tuning into the Chargers game now. Agh 15 2 1 Quote

Is our ability to evaluate and develop talent at the DT level that bad? DT has been a consistent weakness on our D and this guy is balling out. From what I’ve read, he’s been pretty consistent all year too. So why didn’t he do a thing with us? If the Bills were asking him to play 2-gap where the Chargers are playing him 1-gap maybe? He doesn't hold up well at the point of attack, but sure can shoot the gaps. 1 Quote

The Bills have no one that threatens teams protections generally and none that require double teams going into the games however. No idea what the stats say i am just commenting on what I see whenever I go back and look with 0liver. Quote
