Chargers or Pittsburgh would have a better chance at success than Houston can. Pittsburgh and Houston would have next to zero chance in Kansas City. Before this game, I was the most worried about the Chargers, but the first half put me at ease. Still hope the Texans win, though. 1 Quote

Stroud at least caught fire at the end of the half. If Herbert doesn't get better in the 2nd half it's going to bring up some interesting questions going forward. His Oline is stinking up the place too though. So that's definitely playing a part 1 Quote

Chargers had good situations in first half and Herbert did jack squat with them. He’s holding the ball forever and his deep throws have been weak. No plays using his legs. All around crap game by him. 1 1 Quote

Outside of the argument that he was coming back from an injury what else is there to explain why he was terrible here and so much better in LAC? Even Settle is playing better in Hou. Is it our Dline coach? Our scheme? Anyone ? Personally I think its the fact that houston has two dynamic edge rushers who require extra blockers and get game planned for. in buffalo ed oliver gets doubled because the edges are just good players and do not require anything special to account for them. i honestly think its that simple. The Bills need a dynamic guy on the edge and a big giant unmovable 340 LB trash can full of dirt at the 1 tech to shut down the run. If Buffalo had these two things the defense would be among the best in the league. Here is to hoping this draft brings us some great defensive players. Edited 9 hours ago by MikePJ76 1 2 Quote

Other than the 2 drops by his WR's, I'm not sure he's had time to "hold on to the ball forever". Texans Dline is getting through very quickly Quote

Doesn’t risk you getting your QB hurt. I know it takes away the chance that the QB does a play-action, but 99 times out of 100 it’s just. plain-ole QB sneak. You guys are 100% correct. The Tush Push is never a deceptive trick play. So that being the case, just put different personnel in there and make it as automatic as the Eagles and Bills do. Texans Dline is getting through very quickly I disagree . He’s had time on many pass plays , esp in first quarter. Very slow to release and passes were broken up. Weak deep passes too. Quote
RunTheBall Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Can someone tell me why Poona Ford couldn’t see the field with us? Is our ability to evaluate and develop talent at the DT level that bad? DT has been a consistent weakness on our D and this guy is balling out. From what I’ve read, he’s been pretty consistent all year too. So why didn’t he do a thing with us? 1 Quote
