...because it's cold and we don't  have a dome.  Sad truth (ok.... opinion.... but still)

It'll get sold out though.  It'd be a bad look for bills mafia though if large turnout of broncos fans come.

dude 30 with barely any wind is NOT cold.  Unless you have some kind of debilitating medical condition.

People are comparing the apathy of the 90s Bills to this team, lol? No offence, but the 90s Bills were going to Bowls every year, this team can’t even get out of the Divisional round. It could be cost fatigue, but it certainly shouldn’t be playoff fatigue.

I suspect a lot of older STH headed south after Christmas, a lot of younger ones are broke after Christmas, and a lot of the rest are waiting for next week…. I waited too many years for a home playoff game to happen, don’t want to miss any of them

For those too young to remember: The comeback game was blacked out because it didn't sell out.

After consecutive years of playoffs, the wild card game isn't much of an attraction.

That's the main reason my dad & I went to that game. After getting embarrassed in Houston the week before, I thought our playoff run was over, as did a lot of others I would imagine. I wanted to watch the game anyways and attending it seemed like the only option so we went. Glad we did; what a frigging game.

Also, nobody standing in front of you the whole game. That & the fact I'm too old to handle hours in cold temps has basically ended my days of going to games in Buffalo.  If I go to a game, it will have to be in the front row where I can stay seated the whole game and it has to be early in the season.  The last Bills home game I went to was opening day 2021.  People were standing the entire game & I couldn't take it anymore.

I never really minded the traffic when I went to all the games until my late 50s, even when I had to drive back to Albany & go to work the next day.

Yeah the standing the whole game thing is maybe the last 10 years. So stupid. I mean, sure stand for big plays at the end of the game or as a TD or turnover happens but otherwise, why? You're so far from the field anyway it's not standing suddenly gives you a better perspective.

The new stadium dropping from 72k to 62k will make tickets more scarce from a supply perspective. Of course the cost will be higher too, so that will dampen demand.

You mean “all intensive purposes?”  I don’t mean to harm your self of steam, but irregardless, I could care less. 😏

I need to screen cap this for so many people I know.

It’s simple.  Victims of their own success.  It’s expensive to go to games.  If you’re gonna go to one or the other you’ll go next week.

if they lose tomorrow you’ll be just as happy you skipped it, and if they win you’ll have saved some bank for tickets for the Divisional round.

We’ve got 3 seasons.  Seats to this week and next are around $1.5k.  Over and above that we have PSL payments monthly.  At some point, it gets to be a bit much to attend every game.

Let’s not compare 2025 to the 1990s.  We didn’t have big high-definition TVs back then.  Frankly I’m surprised so many people still go to games, but that’s just me.

I had seasons in the ‘90s.  Paid my dues.  At my age I’m more than happy to kick back and watch in the comfort of my home with an unobstructed view, a private bathroom, and no postgame traffic.

I’ve posted about this, before.   Ten usage a year stadiums are dinosaurs near the end of an era.    Football is made for TV and TVs are racing to bigger, better, cheaper.   Add interactivity, fantasy and gambling - the sofa is the new bleacher.   Look at the value of the PSL’s selling today, with thirteen win seasons and Josh Allen and imagine their trajectory five to ten years from now.

Tix holders selling to finance their tickets. Non season tix holders saving $ for later rounds, bigger name opponents. Forcing 2 seed to play WC game is forcing fans to buy more tickets. So demand is less. Not all bad though , as younger crowd can afford to attend. Should lead to a lively , raucous crowd of Bills fans.

is wild card fatigue starting to settle in and people are saving $ for divisonal round and beyond? just checked the bills ticketmaster site, there's still over 300 seats left direct through the box office, there's close to a couple thousand seats on resale for less than $200, and some are selling for less than $100 (including fees). there's a bunch of lowers still selling for less than $150 and 45-yard line lower level for $245. i'd guess these will be even cheaper overnight/tomorrow.

the forecast looks pretty good for WNY in mid january. if you're on the fence, this seems like an overly fair price point for a playoff game.

Because we don’t have a done-  duh

For many, they’re selling this game to pay for the rest.  If we win this one they’ll go to a better one next week.  If we lose, they made money and didn’t experience it live.

Bills is not in a. great secondary market for casual fans to buy and go to the game.  We will expect to see additional Broncos fans in the stadium

Pay for the rest when getting $100?

I assume people who go to games are lawyers, doctors, business owners, etc.  Either that or people with normal jobs, who are willing to eat one pack of ramen per day and budget the rest of their money for tickets.
