why are tickets so cheap?

If I were to put money it’s more so for what you highlighted; the Broncos just aren’t a matchup people care to see. They’re still in the beginnings of that rebuild.

Fewer people have extra cash after the holidays. This happens every early January playoff game, except last year when the visiting team was a few hours away.

Let’s not compare 2025 to the 1990s.  We didn’t have big high-definition TVs back then.  Frankly I’m surprised so many people still go to games, but that’s just me.

 

I had seasons in the ‘90s.  Paid my dues.  At my age I’m more than happy to kick back and watch in the comfort of my home with an unobstructed view, a private bathroom, and no postgame traffic.

PSL’s are selling here. 
 

Season tix holders are selling these to help finance (hopefully) the next game. If they don’t sell for listed price most will be going to the game anyways.

nope tickets were dirt cheap for that one too, especially since it was moved to MLK Jr. Day because of the snowstorm on Saturday/Sunday.

 

 I grabbed a single in 114 Row 3 for like $130.

jan is the most desolate time of year, holidays are over and now it's just cold and sadness until april, with fake stuff like valentine's in between.  people don't want to go outside in the cold if they can help it.

 

make it a dome, and you have a nice warm place to go into after tailgating.

As a STH, I totally agree.  I know many STH's don't take their playoff tickets for this reason.

This is the obvious answer, but it’s not easy for everyone to admit. I think there’s plenty of proof in early season ticket prices, especially prime time games being much higher on the resale market. The market is willing to pay big bucks for those games, but resale prices magically change in January.

Yeah, I think a lot of the resale market in January sells to the twenty something crowd who can better tolerate three hours of cold.

Tix were about &227 CANADIAN!

It'll get sold out though.  It'd be a bad look for bills mafia though if large turnout of broncos fans come.

Also, nobody standing in front of you the whole game. That & the fact I'm too old to handle hours in cold temps has basically ended my days of going to games in Buffalo.  If I go to a game, it will have to be in the front row where I can stay seated the whole game and it has to be early in the season.  The last Bills home game I went to was opening day 2021.  People were standing the entire game & I couldn't take it anymore. 

I never really minded the traffic when I went to all the games until my late 50s, even when I had to drive back to Albany & go to work the next day.
