Ixnay on the inxjay!    😊

No jinxes. If they can’t handle a rookie qb led team in the first round then they wouldn’t go far anyway. I’d be surprised if Denver manages to get more than 17. Bills will score in the 30s.

For those too young to remember: The comeback game was blacked out because it didn't sell out.

After consecutive years of playoffs, the wild card game isn't much of an attraction.

I do remember, but I also remember watching the game locally in West Seneca.  We were going to go to the game and drove by, but decided to watch it at a bar instead for the very reason you say.

How did the bar get it?  Satellite at the time?

we really lucked out getting Denver. Cincinnati would’ve been a great game. Denver is not a playoff level team, if we don’t win by 20 I’ll have concerns

I went to the 44-34 Dolphins playoff game in 1990 and the 51-3 game the following week. My friends and I bought nosebleeds at the top of the upper deck for under fifty bucks (25, as I recall).

So I’m sort of glad to hear a regular Joe or a kid could afford to go to this game.

Yeah...  I've been wondering the same.  If the cheapest wild card tix are under $100 that's a bad sign for future PSL sales.

LOL, indeed.  It could also be that PSLs are a bad sign for PSL sales in Buffalo.

We haven't heard the needle move much on seats sold after the moneybag STHs bought the hoity seats.

That kind of talk concerns me.  We've barely beaten lesser teams in the wild-card round.  The Colts in 2020 and Miami two years ago with Thompson at QB come to mind.

honestly, and i know some people are against this, if we had a dome it would be sold out and more expensive on the resale market.

jan is the most desolate time of year, holidays are over and now it's just cold and sadness until april, with fake stuff like valentine's in between.  people don't want to go outside in the cold if they can help it.

make it a dome, and you have a nice warm place to go into after tailgating.

But isn't a Home playoff game something that is fun and exciting and a thing to look forward to beyond the "Cold and Sadness"  ?

I bet Rams fans who live in the city wish they were enjoying a home playoff game this weekend.

We'll see.  I hope he doesn't siht it the way that Stroud or Stafford did.

He's put up 21 TDs in his last 8 games.  He's definitely a different QB in the second half than he was in the first.   If he had played that way all season he'd have led the league in passing TDs.  In his last four games he's also running on average what Allen contributes.

I'm guessing that how we handle their tenacious D that's going to determine the outcome.  They can bring pressure from a number of places.  Their three leading Sack/TFL/QBHit players are all better than our single best.

I hope the team isn't already looking forward to Baltimore.  That wouldn't be good.  Get this game in the bag!!!

Their performances were the exception not the rule. I think Jayden Daniels will do well. So he’s the exception for this rookie class. There can’t be two in one class. That’s my logic. Very sound.

is wild card fatigue starting to settle in and people are saving $ for divisonal round and beyond? just checked the bills ticketmaster site, there's still over 300 seats left direct through the box office, there's close to a couple thousand seats on resale for less than $200, and some are selling for less than $100 (including fees). there's a bunch of lowers still selling for less than $150 and 45-yard line lower level for $245. i'd guess these will be even cheaper overnight/tomorrow.

the forecast looks pretty good for WNY in mid january. if you're on the fence, this seems like an overly fair price point for a playoff game.

I looked at Stubhub a few days ago and tickets were going for around $95 a piece in the 300 level, which is really cheap. I'm wondering if it's the opponent? I would have to imagine if we had been playing the Bengals it would have been around $200 or more for a ticket

Sucks cause I bought my tickets when they were 210. Looking at the charts and prices around I could have saved about 160 on the 3. Bummer.

Weather and opponent probably play a factor.

If it were the Bengals/Ravens/Chiefs it’s absolutely a different story.

Even the Steelers. They travel wel here. Right down 90 then 79. Very simple and quick drive.

I feel bad for those people, horrible investment, conned by a billionaire oilman.

this thread is proof. A home 1PM Sunday playoff game is the pinnacle and you can’t even get $100 on the secondary market.

whats gonna happen when we’re not hosting playoff games? The PSL default list will be a mile long

I think it's the opponent and the time of the game. It's not a prime time game. It's a 1pm game and the Broncos aren't necessarily a draw that many people care to see really. I don't really think the weather would be too much of a factor because, it's supposed to be around 30 degrees which actually isn't bad

You might be right but I know a large group of people who prefer the early and afternoon slots of any game.

Going to be wind. That’s what sucks. Snow, rain or cold is fine. The wind cripples you.

If I were to put money it’s more so for what you highlighted; the Broncos just aren’t a matchup people care to see. They’re still in the beginnings of that rebuild.

Great news for anyone who was looking to grab tickets cheaper though lol

Yeah, when I saw how cheap they were, I almost bought some myself but then thought, if they win this game and go to the divisional, I would rather save my money for that game to go to even if it costs more
