He was from somewhere that smelled much worse, and I’m sure he fit right in there. I had an exchange student from El Salvador during high school. He would go into the bathroom, lock the door and run the bath water. He would then spritz himself with some perfumey crap and come back out, never having touched the water. He was ripe! 🤢 He tried to kill me one night after Monday night football by smothering me with a pillow. We learned the next day that his parents sent him to the US because he had been trying to kill his brother. He had meds (labels in Spanish) he was not taking, and I’m guessing that was related. When confronted, his parents asked if we could just send him to California. They did not want to take any returns. . This took a dark turn from deodorant…. to attempted murder. 2 Quote

Doc Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I've had a few patients where I had to breathe through my mouth to stop from gagging. It wasn't the usual BO smell. Wish I had some WBD to spray on them... Quote
Ned Flanders Posted January 14 Posted January 14 These ads are on par with the NFL Shop commercials...those are like teeth down a blackboard. 1 Quote

First it was that Mando lady all over the place, and now I see Marshawn spraying his junk with a Dove product every time I glance at the television. I’m sure there are others that aren’t coming to mind right now. Here’s my thoughts. Is there really public demand such that these products are so widely advertised? Also, if someone’s personal hygiene is sufficient, why would their nether regions emanate odors that other people in the same room could actually be offended by the stench? If you bathe regularly and your genitals or butt still stink up the room you are NASTY. What are we doing here? Am I alone? I find this to be repugnant and disgusting. 🤢 😂 Keep in mind our wide open Northern border if you’re looking for root causes. Quote

In caveman times the body hair trapped in body odors so predators couldn’t track them as easily. I had to shave myself for the snip. It was a nerve-racking experience, trying not to cut myself, but still get all the hair off. Quote
The Poojer Posted Thursday at 07:42 PM Posted Thursday at 07:42 PM Yeah, it was the other dad! Sure🤣 On 1/11/2025 at 2:03 PM, Augie said: There was another dad on my son’s basketball team who would seek me out at every gym we went to. I think he thought we were friends, but it got to the point other people didn’t want to be around me, because they knew he would show up and they didn’t want to have to create distance in his presence because it was awkward when people ran from his stench. So there I was. 🤢 🤮 I’m not saying he needed full body deodorant, but at the very least a very long walk in the rain would be a nice start and make the world a better place. It was horrific, and my wife and son still kid me about it decades later. There was no escaping him! If I went to the restroom or concession stand and took a different seat, he’d hunt me down all over again! Quote
