It's so easy to say let's get rid of McDermott but rarely do I see those advocating for change suggesting a realistic replacement. We need a rule that if you suggest dumping someone, you need to suggest a replacement (this goes for players too!) Yes, McDermott has not led us to the promised land (and yes, some of the issues are on him) but take a moment to consider where we are and where we were. I am not saying stick with him regardless but I am saying that any change needs to be towards something that improves our chances of a SB, not a change for change's sake And just the stay on topic, I fear the Ravens the most. That running attack can kill us (and everyone else) and I have to hope there is a plan for that (one plan being to get far enough ahead that they have to dump the run and play the pass more) Edited Sunday at 08:16 AM by Gunvald's Husse Quote
GunnerBill Posted Sunday at 10:23 AM Posted Sunday at 10:23 AM Part of stopping Henry and Lamar running all over you is on your offense too. The Bills offense would have to score early and often to get Baltimore out of their game script. 4 Quote

Their D was gassed by halftime. I was just thinking about this... Not that I want Josh running all over the place but that is part of his game. Lamar and Josh, probably the top 2 running QBs in the league playing against each other. We might get the most combined QB rushing yards in a playoff game ever? Not that it really matters, nor do I even know what that number is. Was just a thought. Quote

Lots and lots of TDs. It can be done. Considering we avg. 30.9 pts. Per game, 2nd in the NFL, and won by 20 or more pts. 8 times, and another by 10. We’ve also beaten the world champs, and the hottest team in the NFL this year (Lions). Lastly, we have the best turnover differential in the league at +24. Were favored by 8.5 pts. I know you’re trying to be positive, but it’s apparent like so many Bills fans (real Bills fans and you are) are nervous. As dark retreat idiot from now NY states, R-E-L-A-X. dollars 2 donuts Posted Sunday at 12:59 PM Posted Sunday at 12:59 PM Eagles. They went from a joke that I frequently made fun last year and early this year to a battle hardened veteran team that does so many things so very well, with an arguable mvp at RB. Quote

I think against the Ravens he will have to do that to keep that D line tired and keep moving chains. It's what Lamar does all the time to opposing teams. He literally controlled that 1st half against Pittsburgh by just moving the chains with his legs. Givem a dose of their own medicine, except instead of a ballerina like Lamar 17's a sledge hammer. By the 2nd half they will soften up. 1 Quote

And various HCs across the NFL prove themselves every Sunday to be buffoons with those choices. Some fired already this year. And just the stay on topic, I fear the Ravens the most. That running attack can kill us (and everyone else) and I have to hope there is a plan for that (one plan being to get far enough ahead that they have to dump the run and play the pass more) You do NOT get the stiffs and clowns in the Playoffs! They are all good - excellent. I absolutely believe that next week is equivalent to Super Bowl A for the Bills. Unless the Unicorn can go wild and establish a double digit lead, you can’t keep that freight train Henry off the field. And if you noticed, Harbaugh has inserted that VERY clever fake Handoff Lamar to George where he pulls it back and rambles for 10 yards! Absolutely fooled and killed the Squeelers last night… on many occasions. Therefore, on additional person (spy) must always be focused on Jackson and he must stay with him throughout the play. Even without Flowers, the Rookie WR is a beast, as well, plus the TEs. Super Bowl B is the Eagles, should they make it. Equivalent on many fronts to the Ravens, including another far better D than the Bills! The road has turned into being quite difficult at year’s end- starting with today. No pushover with that D! Time to reflect on the future of anybody- player- HC, any other Coach- post season. TODAY? GO 🦬! Edited Sunday at 02:54 PM by Billsatlastin2018 Quote

I feel good about this game today. Especially vs a rookie QB in his first ever playoff. Baltimore scares the bejeezus outta me. The margin of error will be slim. You know what, I'd rather just focus on today. There are no givens. GO BILLS!!! 1 Quote

Although Kansas City is always a formidable foe, the Raven's scare me the most since they have a mobile quarterback and a strong running back. We also didn't do very well against them when we played them earlier in the year. Our run defense is still suspect and this could be a big test. The Buffalo Bills. 1 Quote
