Baltimore

The only team to handedly beat us in all phases this season. It was never a game. And I don't think that was a mirage.

We don't match up well against them. The things they're best at are things we're bad at. We could not stop them. And Defensively, they gave us fits.

I'm hoping Zay Flowers being out and it being a Division game leads to the Steelers doing an upset. Or that Zay misses next week as well. I think we always have a chance against anyone. But if there's one team I want to avoid? It's Baltimore, easy.

At 21-10 in the third quarter and the Bills driving (two first downs, 2nd and 7 on the Ravens' 44-yard-line) it was turning into a game. If the Bills scored a TD it's a new ball game.

Then Brady called the trick play that backfired, Josh got the ball knocked out of his hand, the Ravens recovered, scored, and it was over.

My point being that despite the terrible first half it was not over yet, and in fact the Bills were coming back and might have made it a close game (as they did the previous time they played the Ravens in Baltimore, when they came from way behind in the second half to beat them 23-20).

Everyone but the Steelers and Chargers.

The Broncos are a really good team y’all - elite defense and offensive line and a very promising rookie quarterback.

We have a bad history with the Chiefs. And I’m not sure we’re built to beat the ravens.

Not getting ahead of ourselves, but the Bills were massively banged up in the Ravens game. Shakir hurt early, no Cooper yet, Bernard, Milano, Taron all inactive. Those are massive holes to fill. I still think the Ravens are the worst matchup, however that game is not a good indicator of what a rematch would look like.

the scariest team is the ravens, and it's not even close.

computer cowboy put up a chart of teams ranked based on their combined epa per play on O and D.  the upper right was best at both the lower left worst.  the ravens were just above and just to the right of the bills, who were second overall.

you can argue josh sitting out way more might have changed the offensive numbers, maybe some starters not sitting would have nudged the d numbers but it's pretty evident baltimore and buffalo are the two teams no one else in the play offs wants to see.

kc being in KC and our 3 losses there in the playoffs is a whole other thing -- i think if we host and beat baltimore the confidence of the bills team going into kc will put them over, but it's a game that very few teams have won.

Ravens are the best team in the NFL outside of the Bills.

If they are clicking they're almost unstoppable with that running game. Most teams are built to pass rush and stop the pass, and are undersized on defense.

That's a bad matchup with Baltimore.

The Bills - if they play to the level they are capable in all phases I am not scared of anyone. Let's just hope that none of the offense, defense, kicking game or coaches let the team down.

KC… Lamar has been subpar in playoffs. Can he change that in cold weather with all the pressure? 3 time MVP has the most to prove. So KC has the best coach and the best D. With a QB who has done it before and yes the refs with a couple Brady type calls that go to KC. Until they are gone they are the most feared!!! Part of me wants Chargers Ravens so LAC can knock them out and come here in the elements after we beat a tough Ravens team.

Elite is a bit of a stretch imo.  Teams were lighting them up down the stretch in games that were must win for Denver.  Likely would’ve missed the playoffs giving up 30+ in 4 out of their final 5 if kc had anything to play for

This whole season has felt like it's been leading to Bills/Ravens. I feel whoever wins that goes on to beat KC and advance to the show.

I know schemes and luck always play a part, but we just don't match up well with Baltimore. Unless we see something different like more 3 LB formations and single high safety I don't expect it to change. McD is stubborn with his defensive philosophy.

You probably meant KC/Chargers matchup. There’s definitely a chance for a Chargers/Bills afccg. I don’t think KC is feared by other teams.

NO ONE.  If we lose, we lose, but fear is not in the equation.  The Ravens can possibly cause us problems, but the last time we didn’t have Milano, Bernard, and Taron.  Those are three big losses and we may go to more base and put Dorian Williams on the field against Taron on some downs.

The Bills were also still figuring things out on offense early in the season.

The Ravens are a really good team, and it will be a challenge if the Bills see them next week. But this is a different Bills team.

Yes I meant Chargers and Ravens to win along w Bills .. chargers go to KC and Bills host Ravens. Sorry wasn’t as clear as I should have been. My thoughts get ahead of my typing. 😆

Agree this amazing Broncos D is a bit much. Surtain “lock down” has actually similar but not as good stats of Benford who nobody has on all pro teams. They rush the passer well, Bills defend the QB well. D has been average last 5-6 games as you mention.
