What charity should Ethan send the funds too?  Want to make sure he has the info lol

@Ethan in Cleveland check/ach/wire?

Well...I am a Penn Stater.  My dislike of Diggs stems from his time in Maryland playing Penn State....so how about this...

He's an awesome leader and person.    Hopefully he keeps delegating game calling stuff to others like Marv used to because he's shown that he needs help in that area.    That's on Beane to get  him the guys upstairs for clock management, time out calls, what to do late in the 4th q vs Houston, 13 seconds, etc.    He's gotta quit saying "we'll learn from this", it's been 8 years bro you're there or you're not, and nobody's perfect so just get ol McD the brainy boys to support him and keep the dude forever.

I remember reading in the off-season that they were going to get a clock management coach. I guess that never happened.

he will have to make meaningful contributions for us to win it this season.  we'll need him to break the back of the baltimore secondary if we face them in the divisional round.  he'll get likely less than a half a dozen chances, and he'll need to make good on a few of them.

For what Beane and the FO crew marketed as a down year and FA shopping at K-Mart, I'd like to retain some of these K-Mart players, especially Coop and Hollins. It seems like Josh has finally found his main trio of wideouts with Shakir, Coop, and Hollins, and I hope we can keep that going for at least another year or two. Cooper is what we need as a #1 wideout: no talk all business, great hands, fast, physical, and just seems to fit personality wise.

We have 3 difference makers on offense, and Coop is one of them.  Because our O is set, our priority is DL, especially a stud who flattens the QB.

Every team needs guys that push everyone to be great and not settle. Jordan, Kobe, Brady, etc. These aren't nice unselfish guys but all they do is win. If you want nice and soft go watch a Disney movie. This is football.

Also Amari Cooper played with us for almost half the season and had less than 300 yards receiving. Give me Diggs all day every day and twice on Sundays!

I didn't know much about Cooper but when I heard Nick Saban joke that he barely knew Cooper was on the team, it told me he's not a diva/talker and a guy that just goes out there and does whatever his role is.  There was a discussion over why he'd have huge games followed by lesser ones and that's why and what is preventing him from being "that guy."

After the season, if they think he's worth bringing back, I'd offer him a 2-year $20M deal.  Maybe up to $12M/year.  I think he'd take it.

I know his stats don't jump off the page but I hope Beane finds a way to keep Cooper for next season. Even if he's not a top end #1 anymore he's still our best man coverage beater and is such a technician that Coleman, Shakir, and hopefully another rookie can learn from him.

Cooper is an end of career rental for the Bills.  He still has game and is an old pro.  Don't know if he will be on the roster next year, but the Bills would do well to retain him if they can afford him.  The lack of drama that Diggs brought is fine, Josh is the star here now and going forward.

I think a lot of players' on-field displays of emotion are phony advertisements. I despised Diggs' "must win" showmanship. I really like Amari Cooper and I hope we keep him.

The quiet confidence of Amari Cooper

I wish there were more guys like him i the league now but in todays NFL as it has changes it's all about each Diva WR's TV time with their celebrations & with every 1st down pointing towards the opponents end zone it's just a different game today .

Coleman seems to be more from the same mold as Coop he doesn't have a individual celebration that he has to do with every catch or TD and in interviews he's very matter of fact and not at all like say Diggs was .

Don't get me wrong i like when Diggs use to pump the other guys up after a TD but the days of players being more about the team than them selves and their individual achievements are long gone .

I think you sell the offense short.

Who are your other 2 difference makers? Because if you count Coop among them, there's also Shakir, Cook and Allen that are locked in as difference makers. Hollins is just outside that IMO. He won't take over a game but those 3rd down grabs make a huge difference. Kincaid has the ability to be a difference maker if they use him a bit better.

Then you talk OL. Brown and Dawkins have been difference makers this year.

I think it further speaks to your point however that the focus comes draft needs to be defense. Get me a couple DL early. Some backend help a bit later. Free agency go grab a WR that fits the offense if you don't retain Coop. Maybe a couple just above mid tier DL to fill out the room.

McDermott is a very good coach. That he made the playoffs with this no-name roster is quite an achievement. He knows how to handle Gen-Z athletes, so many coaches do not.

now it’s a “no name roster”??

Billy, I was thinking JA17 and JC4 as the other two that this team would be diminished without.  Would really hate to lose any you mentioned.  Let’s get a wide body at nose and a pass rusher.  Two glaring weaknesses that may keep us from the Lombardy this year;  however, our O may be nuff.  Go Bills 🦬
