TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Does anyone else think the Steelers have a really good chance of winning this game ? -All the steeler players keep hearing is about how they're a joke and have lost 4 in a row. Mike Tomlin will have the defense ready to play. -They have a super bowl champion qb on the other side of the ball 🤷♂️ -Lamar has a losing record vs. Pittsburgh. -Lamar performs poorly in the playoffs - No Zay Flowers Edited January 10 by TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th 1 1 Quote
Gregg Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Except for the last game these two teams usually play very close games. The Steelers have won most of them. If the Steelers can start playing well again then they definitely have a chance. If they play like they have the past month then forget it. 1 Quote
Einstein Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I not only think the Steelers have a good chance, if I were to bet, I'd pick them to win. 1 Quote

T.E. Posted January 10 Posted January 10 It's going to be an uphill battle because Wilson has looked brutal the last month and their best offensive player is the biggest headcase in football, HOWEVA, if they can get some turnovers, who knows... Quote

And even their last matchup in week 16 was a lot closer than the score indicated . Tied 7-7 Pittsburgh was driving about to go up 14-7 and russel Wilson fumbles on the 4 yd line. At one point its tied 17-17. Ravens are up 24-17 and russ throws a pick six to seal it. Russ needs to play better. 2 2 Quote

paulmm3 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I think the Steelers are the biggest betting underdog of the weekend for a reason but I would love if they won. I just don't think they can score. Rooting for Steelers and Texans. Quote
tigerthelion Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I give the Steelers a very slim chance to win. Russell Wilson looks so bad these days. We will see. 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I don’t think the Steelers will win, but I expect ‘em to give Baltimore a tough game. Quote

billsherd Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Maybe try Justin Feilds for some plays and see how that goes. Quote

JoshAllin Posted January 11 Posted January 11 The game is like if it were the Bills vs Miami in the playoffs except if Mia won 8 out of the last 10 vs Buff. Pitt has that record against Bal and I feel they could still pull it off Quote
BillsFan130 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I can't see Pitts winning. -Russ would have to play really well -Steelers would have to stop Henry -TJ watt would have to dominate on passing downs. I think it takes all 3 of those things for Pitts to have a shot- Will say 27-17 Baltimore Quote
MJS Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) It depends on if the Steelers can run the ball with any regularity. If they ask Wilson to drop back and pass to win the game, it will be a long day for them. Wilson just isn't that guy now, and never really has been. But if they can run the ball and play stout defense, he can manage the game quite well (most of the time). Here's hoping... Edited January 11 by MJS Quote

And it doesn’t move the needle all that much for me, vs this particular opponent. Their motivations and histories are non factors. When the clock starts, and ppl start getting punched in the mouth, it all goes out the window. Ravens are the much much better team and will crush them imo 1 Quote
