hondo in seattle Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Back in the 70s, the Fins won the Super Bowl with a "No Name Defense." I'd love to see us win the SB this year with a One Name Team. Quote

HappyDays Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago So I guess the hope is that AP voters decided to split the baby by giving All-Pro to Lamar but MVP to Josh. Kind of an admission through the voting process that they both deserved it but Josh slightly edged him out for the more prestigious award. That's the hope anyways. 5 Quote

This is really well thought out.....but I highly doubt the AP has Solomon Wisdom Edited 6 hours ago by Warriorspikes51 1 2 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I don’t know that I realized Marlon Humphrey is now a slot corner? Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I absolutely see McDermott using this as fuel Quote

Not according to Florio who is a voter: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/all-pro-voting-points-to-lamar-jackson-as-mvp Quote
GunnerBill Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Okay for the first time I think Josh might not win MVP. 7 Quote

Brand J Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Broncos have 3 first team all pros. How will we ever compete? 5 minutes ago, Blank Stare said: Not according to Florio who is a voter: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/all-pro-voting-points-to-lamar-jackson-as-mvp Has a regular season MVP ever finished 2nd team all pro or didn’t make the list? 1 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I'm sad that Josh appears to be getting screwed by the AP(MVP too) and the Bills are so disrespected they only got one 2nd teamer. As Jake said in Major League, "Win the whole damn thing!" 1 Quote

Probably not much hope there. 11 minutes ago, Warriorspikes51 said: I absolutely see McDermott using this as fuel The players all read this kind of news. McDermott just needs to click his bic and the fuel will be there. 2 Quote

Not sure, but, according to the Athletic, every QB who has been First Team all pro since 2013 has been the MVP. I’ve never been more confident going into a game now than I am this weekend. 2 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Dion was 3rd in left tackle voting. And a pretty strong third but Wirfs and Mailata were a shoe-in for 1st and 2nd team. Benford was 7th among corners with some first team votes. Otherwise only Taron Johnson and Reid Ferguson got any votes at all among Bills. Bit surprised Spencer Brown didn't get any love at all but Sewell and Lane Johnson hoovered up almost all the right tackle votes between them. Quote
Big Blitz Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago If it’s these same 50 clowns Josh needs to flip 6 of the Lamar voters to think Josh might be MVP but Lamar is 1st team. Not that hard to distinguish the two. Figure the 18 votes for Josh are absolutely going to vote him for MVP. I’m not sure a Lamar for first team all pro means all those voters are saying he’s the MVP. 1 Quote
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago And, now McDermott will receive no serious consideration for COY . Logic is lost Quote

ShakAttack Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) If AP is more of a statistically based award and MVP represents more the player’s value to his team, as we have been hearing, shouldn’t this come as no surprise? And shouldn’t that mean the vote for first team AP QB doesn’t necessarily reflect the vote for MVP?? This award is still supposed to represent value to team, and that’s where Allen should have the edge… Edited 6 hours ago by ShakAttack 1 Quote
