The Bills have done this a few times in the past.  I think I have (or had) a couple white towels with Bills logo and some ads on it from the drought era. I think they are trying to generate some buzz for a game that is lacking it, as evidenced by secondary market ticket values.

I don’t care about the towels either way, but if it keeps fans from slapping their seats, clapping, etc along with the screaming for so much crowd noise Nix has problems.  He hasn’t played in a raucous crowd like ours in the NFL. Maybe in college, but he’s dealing with the Mafia this Sunday.

 

I remember I received a Bills towel several years ago at the home opener, and made for a good hand towel in my car.

I still have the red towel with blue lettering on it that says Ralph Wilson, Stadium. I think they were given out at the first game after the stadium had been renamed. We used to get freebies all the time when you walked in.

I've got a few of the towels from over the years.  My ticket rep did not realize till I pointed it out one day, that when the towels were primarily white in color, the Bills would lose that game.  Asked her to send word up the chain not to use a surrender color for the towels.

People said Ralph was cheap, the Pegula's are cheaper.
