Wow!  It's the right decision but that's rough.  The goal of every team is to get as many home playoff games as possible, so this is a big deal.  It had to be done but it still sucks for the Rams.

Do sports books offer a refund in situations such as these? I didn't bet, but was just curious. Not really fair to them.

They finished four games behind Minnesota in the NFC. In a vacuum, if you take all the wildfire stuff out of it, this isn't a huge injustice.

First time I’ve heard someone concerned about the welfare of a Sportsbook. Or is “them” referring to us, the suckers?

The rams don't even deserve a home playoff game anyways. One of those weird seasons where they won their division but have less wins than all 3 wild card teams.

Well,  it's the rule,  so they do deserve it.  There should be a reward for winning the division.

My wife is an exec for one of the ones you see on tv every 34 seconds. The answer is no.

That's actually every year. There's always one division winner every year that usually has at least 2 or 3 less wins than the team they playing in the wild card. This is the one year where the 5 seed has 14 wins. Usually it's 11 or 12. But every year this happens

Saturday, Monday, California, or Arizona. Going to be tough for those guys to get up and prep for a football game. 
 

Honestly, how many players have families and/or homes in SoCal. Really tough focus week for a lot of guys across the league I’m sure.
