Didn't Belichick have a clause put in that his successor was supposed to be his kid? Unless of course his kid follows him to Vegas.

Telesco and Daboll were at Frannies at the same time. 2 years apart. Brian Polian was also there at that time.

Yeah and Polian, Telesco, and Dave Ziegler went to John Carroll together.......along with Josh McDaniels and Nic Caserio.   There were other employees in the Bills organization in the 2000's that I knew who were at John Carroll at that time as well and were very tight with McDaniels.   Always kinda' thought we'd see some combination of those guys in Buffalo.  Remarkably none of them ended up with the Bills.   The resentment for how Ralph did Polian and micromanaged Butler was pretty strong I think.   There were 1-2 other guys from that St Francis crew though I thought.

They all went to St. Francis like myself, but they all played for St. John Fisher in college football (D3).  Caldwell, Telesco, C. Polian were all buds, kind of close, but not the same year as Daboll.  Polian was in homeroom with one of my cousins for four years as Frannies does homeroom alphabetically.  Then they split off based on their academic abilities.

My brother and every cousin went to Frannies so have some history.  They’ve all lost their jobs as of recently, but doesn’t mean they may not regain these positions in other places.  I didn’t know them.

All went to John Carroll (plus Greg Roman) except for daboll. None are GMs anymore but Polian and Caldwell are in front offices. Caldwell in Philly and Polian in Cleveland. Telesco will land somewhere too. And probably will be a GM again. He had a really good draft and the timing didn’t really line up with Brady coming in and wanting to hire a HC and GM in tandem. Plus Telescos history of hiring HCs is bad.

Boy, he's really going out on a limb there. I mean no one could see this coming.

When I was in grade school I used to go to coach Bob Torgalski's basketball camp at St Francis - week long sleepover camp - good times.  The Braves came one day one year for a 'practice'.  'Crazy George' used to come and do tricks

It's going to be Belichick.

Florio just posted a story about a guy with ties to Freddie Kitchens (who is on the UNC staff, served as interim HC and is supposed to be Belichick's OC there) being hired on the defensive side of the ball at UNC.

That's a clue, according to Florio, that Belichick is planning to leave and Kitchens will be HC at UNC and the college will have $10 million extra.

I think it makes sense.

If Belichick pulls this again, after he did it with the Jets, that is going to be hilarious.

Any former Patriots GMs on the unemployment line? Tommy getting the old gang together for a run to glory?

Josh Daniels, version 2.0? 🤔

The Buffalo Boy getting shuffled around lately...

Still never forget when they were talking to him about the movie Draft Day and asking him how realistic were things in terms of what happens in the build up to the draft and in the War Room....he kept interrupting as the scenes were playing to talk about how terrible those draft boards were and couldn't stop commenting on it every time they showed it...it was freaking hilarious 😂

Belicheat is going to take the Raiders' job?  With no QB and no chance of landing one of the non-elite QB's coming out?  I can't see it.

Beginning to look like Deon is coming..

I completely agree. I've been saying it for weeks, I see Deon going to Vegas and persuading the teams ahead of them not to draft Shedeur.

You think Mark Davis is going to pay UNC the $10m to break that contract?  That alone makes them the least likely team to grab Belicheck.  Thats without even considering the side where Belicheck has to pull another 'Jets/Pats carousel' moment, that will certainly further stain his career.

I think at earliest its after a year at UNC he would even consider it.  He was on ESPN ticker just yesterday for getting his first recruit.  Personally I think he could end up loving college if he gets the right staff to do most of the 'cruiting. He can recruit by them using his last name, and having a direct to NFL pipeline of connections & friends in the NFL.  Dude can rule with an iron fist so hard, itd make Urban blush.  Admittedly im biased I want to see him stay at UNC.  Theyre not my college team but I live in the area and think it'd be fun to see.

I think if he can turn a program around in college and win a Natty, itd do more for his career than another SB, AND I think its a lot more likely than a SB is for him.  I get why ppl would disagree with me there though!

He already has 13 players coming to UNC through the transfer portal.
