gonzo1105 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Why do fans feel it’s necessary to do this *****? I get fans are nervous as you should be it’s the playoffs and one loss and we’re done but Codrington is a bottom of the roster corner and we can only deactivate so many guys. Of course he should have played last week. I just feel like the OP is a doom and gloomer fan or troll hence the name of said poster and is setting themselves up if we lose a close game particularly due to a PR blunder

GerstAusGosheim Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This wouldn't even sniff the top 10 biggest Sean blunders. Maybe not even the top 25.

Kelly to Allen Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Might as well just not play. There's always next year. Denver has a good dline. Sean Payton is bill Walsh It's over
Bad Things Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago There are a lot of miserable trolls on this board nowadays.
Governor Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) I am really enjoying this. Thanks op! We do need to remind ourselves periodically that we have an all time choker as a HC and everything could come to a crashing down in an instance when it matters most. Really nothing is off the table. He could decide to send an all out blitz and get us torched for the game winner. The over-correction to past blunders is what I fear most. Edited 12 hours ago by Governor
folz Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 13 minutes ago, Simon said: I'd like to see that play. Did he fumble a punt that was recovered by the coverage team who then fumbled it also before he scooped and scored? I looked it up again, apparently he did not technically return any punts. They all came when he was playing defensive special teams. He returned three blocked punts for TDs in his college career (one of which he blocked himself and scooped and scored). But, the stats label those as punt return TDs for some reason...I guess there isn't a better designation. Tyrell did have three blocked punts himself in his two years at San Diego State (along with two of his ST TDs, the other TD happened when he was at Bama) and was considered a special teams ACE. 1
YoloinOhio Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Ngl codrington injury status has been a hot topic on all of the podcasts and radio shows but I think it’s bc this is overall the healthiest roster that a McD team has been blessed with the enter the playoffs and it’s the only injury to discuss. Look I really dislike Matt smiley as a coach so I don’t have a ton of faith that the PR game will be as good as it’s been and that does impact field position and heaven forbid turnovers BUT I don’t see it a big McD blunder. As others have said someone had to play corner and he’s the last guy on the depth chart there. I remember one year Isaiah McKenzie played CB in the same situation. Ultimately it’s a hammy he didn’t tear his ACL. This team should be able to adapt and maybe he comes back soon. Edited 13 hours ago by YoloinOhio
MikePJ76 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Joe Buscaglia @joebuscaglia.bsky.social · 10m Bills PR/KR Brandon Codrington was on the field for a couple of reps. When the team went to positional drills, Codrington was no longer participating. Ja’Marcus Ingram was a DNP, he missed Wednesday due to an excused absence. The rest of the Bills were practicing Thursday.

Did you want to see Douglas and Benford out there to protect a freaking punt returner? The Bills have other guys that can handle punts (Hyde, SHakir, etc). Take your repetitive negativity and misery somewhere else; nobody here wants to hear it. Simon, thanks for standing up for the real Bills fans. I’m not indicting this person, but it certainly smells as you state of negativity, and I’ll leave at that point. I just wish some would at least take a fair minded point of view, vs. a negativity only slant. An interesting point brought up this morning on WGR IS OUT IF THE 14 playoff teams on 4th down when not unrealistic like 4th and 17, McD was rated as the #1 coach in this crew. For all the clock management, he’s not aggressive enough, etc., he’s done a better job than Dan Campbell and others as Campbell was sometimes too overly aggressive this year and it cost him in some situations. Fan in Chicago Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago 1 hour ago, WIDE LEFT said: When playoff time rolls around, a constant theme is Coach McD & bad decisions. 13 seconds, clock management, head scratching decisions to punt, or fake punt, at the worst times etc etc. His latest blunder, right as the playoffs are about to begin, ranks right up there. He has had ONE, and only ONE, player return punts all year (kickoffs as well). This player has done very well, unlike the rest of our special teams. So the decision to use this ONE player in a meaningless game RIGHT before the start of playoffs boggles the mind. Even worse, he EXPANDED this players role in this meaningless game, as he had him not only returning kicks, but used him as a DB as well. And now he is injured. And now the Bills have to scramble to find a punt returner just as the playoffs are starting. A yet to be named player who hasn’t returned a punt ALL year. A wiser choice may have been to sit our punt returner, and let another player get a bit of experience returning punts in this meaningless game, just in case our #1 guy got hurt sometime during the playoffs. But wise decisions come the playoffs is not the McD way. Quite the opposite actually. In the words of the esteemed DC Tom, You are an idiot. 58 minutes ago, Ethan in Cleveland said: Dam spell check...as a doc you think is would have caught that... I dont know who needs to hear this...but in a meaningless game you still need to play about 40 players of your roster as no one plays whole games. So this notion we can sit everyone and put every key player in a protective bubble is unrealistic. 1 hour ago, Simon said: Do you understand that Codrington was playing CB because he is the last man on the depth chart at the position? Codrington had to play corner to protect the guys above him on the depth chart and also didn't return a single punt all game. The OP has no valid point whatsoever and has a history of posting nothing but pointless rants complaining about various members of the Bills. I try to err on the side of welcoming all opinions but this guy deserves every bit of mockery he's going to get. Had to play? Did u ever hear of Shakir, Ingram or Lewis. All available & playing. Ever hear of a thing called the practice squad, where u could have elevated a CB or 2 for a nothing game, rather than risk your specialist 1
