T master Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Brady has a lot of ammo that he hasn't used i think, this game he could show some of the things he's had in his game plans all along but didn't want to show it because the other things were working so well and wanted to save them for certain circumstances and if his game plan works with some of what he has already used he may just save some of the exotic stuff for later in the play offs . bmur66 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 All he does is catch ball behind the LOS for a few yards. 😉 1 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted January 9 Posted January 9 He was really good vs KC. He's obviously disappointed and struggled being banged up but I expect him to help and can be valuable depth in a playoff run. Quote
Charles Romes Posted January 9 Posted January 9 He’s just not next-level elusive enough (like a Gibbs) to make the plays they hope he can make. Quote
JP51 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I think my only complaint this year on Brady consistently was please for the love of God stop throwing the ball to Samuel at or around the LOS... I have yet to see it work. So, if they can figure out a way to get him involved outside of that play that would be awesome... I am just not sure I see this happening..... although whenever the opposing D sees him out there they are sitting on that play... send him deep maybe... that would be fun... LOL Quote
bigK14094 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Samuel should have me snaps. Coleman has turned out to be the leader in drops I think. Thinking Gabe Davis like really. So, lets see Samuel if he is healthy and maybe he catches' more than Coleman. Of course, the bills knew about Coleman's drops etc when they drafted him. 1 Quote
Offside Number 76 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Depends on the height from which he's falling. Quote

YAC all the way in this one, nothing flashy for him…but I’m guessing he’s plus 40 yards which is an appearance. Do you think McDermott reaches into the bag of tricks this week? I think he will have an impact, but not this game. Maybe a a few catches for 50 yards and a TD at most unless Cooper is limited. Then I could see him as a major factor. I think Shakir and Knox/Kincaid will be the main factor along w/ Allen’s running. I do feel super comfortable having him as depth though. Quote
msw2112 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I think Samuel will get a few touches and may pick up a short gain here or there (6-8 yards on first or 2nd down), and maybe even pick up a 1st down or 2. He'll contribute, but not necessarily show up as a "difference maker." I don't think he's a bad player, he's just been limited due to 1) a lingering turf toe injury and 2) the Bills having an extremely diverse offense with several other options (Cooper, Shakir, Kincaid, Hollins, Cook, Davis, Johnson, Knox, etc.) I'm not a fan of Buckeyes, and Samuel scored the winning TD in double OT that kept my Wolverines out of the playoff and national championship back in 2016, but that painful loss has since been avenged (many times over) and Samuel is now a Bill, so he has my full support. BuffaloMatt Posted January 9 Posted January 9 As long as he doesn't go under center and try that lateral to Allen which efeectively changed the course of the Baltimore game comeback. Quote
MarlinTheMagician Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Amari needs to draw that corner -- and everybody else eats. Samuel, Ty Johnson, Cook, tight ends. Let's go! And Shakir and Coleman! And Mack! Quote
machine gun kelly Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Joe Brady has proven this season especially he is a top talent OC like Ben Johnson. He has a lot of weapons so he’s not vulnerable to an overly liability to Diggs. Surtan can only defend one guy. Samuel may be of help Sunday, but we’ll see. We also may see a nice day from Hollins. My guess. The RB’s are going to have a good day and so may the TE’s. 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I was wildly wrong on this one. Right from the get go I was surprised how much burn he’d was getting…and as I suggested earlier in this thread, he would have to make the most of limited opportunities. Boy did he ever! Quote
thenorthremembers Posted January 13 Posted January 13 He was worth every penny of that contract for today alone. Very impressed that he didnt go into a shell after the regular season he had. 1 1 Quote

I think he's an excellent OC. But, at the same time, I don't think he's the best at scheming routes that get outside receivers open. 1 1 Quote
