Oh, I hate this. We had him with the team from the very start of the year and called him up twice. He was one of the first call up's when we had an injury at Safety. With us seemingly not serious about putting Hyde on the field - it leaves us with just Kareem Jackson if someone gets hurt. And I thought there was tremendous upside to Lewis Cine. Hopefully they let him go and he can come back at some point.

And the Bills would’ve had the option to cut someone to make room for him on the active roster. If they’re fine with letting him go after working closely with him for all these months, maybe it’s not a loss at all. Could’ve cut someone like Mike White to make room for him.

Mike White being on the active roster allows the Bills to avoid a situation like the 49ers had when Purdy and Johnson were injured. He is an inactive/emergency QB on Gamedays.

Curious that, given our situation at safety, we didn't see anything from him. Only activated for the last, meaningless game in which I don't think he had a single snap on defense. (I think he might have been out there on special teams). Seemed like someone with some potential when we signed him.

Talk about an organization that likes former Bulldogs.

I wouldn’t worry too much.  I suspect Beane will poach him back this offseason.

The guy couldn't beat Rapp, Hamlin or Bishop to get into the starting line up.

That’s not the plan.  They were trying to teach a great athlete to become a linebacker.

It's really obvious our overall safety play is a weak point of this defense.  The coaches know it too, that they still had Cine on PS and willingly let him go says it all.

Worse than that, he couldn't show enough to get any playing time, except for 16 snaps on STs in the Rams game.  If that's what they signed him for, then it might make sense.

I suspect his issue is he's 95% athlete, 5% football player, and he struggles understanding a football playbook and knowing where he's got to be outside the fundamental concepts.

From a competitive intelligence about the Bills standpoint, I'm not too concerned.  I'd be more concerned about that if they poached an OL.
