I didn't see anyone questioning him as to whether he should be brought back this year at the extremely affordable rate we're paying him this year. 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 I think in general, Bills players have felt very supported by the team when they've had to deal with personal/family problems. It the long run, that is to the benefit of the Bills as this is one more reason the Bills are a desired destination for free agents. Players like to stay in Buffalo too as long as the money is competitive. 1 Quote

Physical or sexual assault? Criminal charges to somebody he cares about? There's a world of things it could be. My brother ended up going from being fine to having some virus destroy his heart in a matter of days and ended up stuck in hospitals for a year waiting for a transplant. He had a wedding scheduled that year (his evil ex wife made him go through with it too) Sadly, life doesn't give two f***s about anyone's schedules and does terrible things at the worst times. st pete gogolak Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Still don’t get what’s up with Cooper. Thought they were somewhat keeping him under wraps until the playoffs. Is he going be under wraps until the Divisional Round? AFCC? Super Bowl? Honestly thought he would see a lot of targets today. Note: not complaining, just curious. Quote

Patrick Surtain is considered the best CB in the league and he was on Cooper every time I noticed Coop 1 1 Quote

They're not going to target people; they're going to target parts of the field and advantageous matchups. The days of force-feeding WR's are over with. 3 3 3 Quote

I think it’s about time to stop believing your eyes are wrong and admit the fact he wasn’t going anything in Cleveland and isn’t doing much in Buffalo. He’s lost a step and isn’t the #1 they thought/hoped they were getting. He’s a solid vet who’s reliable, but no longer “special”, he was simply attractive bc of the contract. 1 1 3 Quote

BlueRed Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I’m hopeful that Cooper will make some impactful plays coming up this postseason but I don’t think the Bills should prioritize bringing him back next year. You can’t pay 15+ mil for receivers that disappear like he has. Quote

His lack of targets is NOT due to lack of ability, given that every target on the Bills offense lacks targets most weeks. His unreal catches on the boundaries and in the endzone are in fact due to ability (and great touch passes by his ELITE QB). Think about that catch on the iconic 49ers play in the snow, or his insane high point catch in the right endzone against the Jets, or against the Chiefs, or... Come on, people. Stop putting your own fantasy expectations above the Bills REAL WORLD plans and enjoy the ride. Until it stops. Then tell us all how smart you are again. 1 1 Quote

IDK, I have it on good authority that Cooper is the savior of the Bills' offense and the only reason our WRs are able to get any production. 1 Quote
Charles Romes Posted January 13 Posted January 13 No weapon is going to put up consistent huge numbed in this system. We are bottom 10 in weapons 1-3 but number 1 in weapons 1-12. We won today because our middle range weapons destroyed their coverage linebackers. Just like the Detroit game plan. Quote
