I was there. Long story. Bullet points.

  • Jumped the night before by 3 dudes in the street, woke up to firemen with smelling salt
  • Went to game with bloodied face, broken tooth, concussed
  • Head to toe in Bills gear and was very vocal (was still raging about last night)
  • When Bills took the late lead I let every Titans fan in my area know about it
  • After the disaster on the field an entire section of Titans fans were giving me the business (deserved, I guess)
  • Started a new job the next day, not a good first impression AT ALL
  • Worst 48 hours of my life

...................It sounds like you had taken a few pages right out of ole Sweats younger day handbooks.........."How to Make Friends" and "The Subtle Art of Being a Big Mouth"

1:20 mark, evidence that it was not a forward pass.  Camera angles and the position of each player’s bodies made it appear otherwise, but the ball went backward.  Denial is only the first step of grief.

It was pretty much the definition of a "lateral"

I hate you right now for posting that.

I'm glad to see someone is brave enough to admit it

Chris Berman kept pounding the table that he felt it was a lateral I believe

I mean Flutie was. If he plays that game we probably win it. Starting Rob Johnson was one of the worst franchise decisions ever made

Ralph is cheap

The day that started mediocrity. Oof. 17 years. It's crazy

I just realized that the last regular season Bills game I attended was the season opener vs Tennessee following that game.

Damn, did I start that shlt?

Yeah but was it the last regular season game you've attended?

That was what gave me the guilt complex.

The officiating during that whole game was sketchy. They had a team in a new city, in a new stadium, with new uniforms - all of that had to be sold to the public. Can't have them getting upset by the small-market Bills.

Drove through there over Christmas. And couldn’t believe what I saw, they’re building a new stadium right beside the other one. Not even 25 years old. I’m sure the tax payers love that. …. Maybe they’ll invite Bills fans down to help implode this House of Horrors.

I ran out of the house after the Bills took the lead. Missed everything.  My cousin who lived next to me comes out and says, "Did you see that?!"

"See what?" I said.  🥲

You could make the argument the 1999 team was the best chance we have had to win a Super Bowl since the early 90's. You could also make an argument it was was the best chance we ever had. That roster was very balanced with leadership from the early 90's teams, new talent, and was the best defense of the Super bowl era. The offense was certainly capable.

DL: Bruce, Ted, Pat, Phil, Wiley => Are you kidding me?

When you have two QB's, it really means you don't have one.
