BuffaloBillies Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I was there. Long story. Bullet points. Jumped the night before by 3 dudes in the street, woke up to firemen with smelling salt Went to game with bloodied face, broken tooth, concussed Head to toe in Bills gear and was very vocal (was still raging about last night) When Bills took the late lead I let every Titans fan in my area know about it After the disaster on the field an entire section of Titans fans were giving me the business (deserved, I guess) Started a new job the next day, not a good first impression AT ALL Worst 48 hours of my life 2 3 3 8 2 Quote
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Long-term effect on the Bills The Music City Miracle was the last game in a Bills uniform for the remaining key members of the team's 1990s Super Bowl runs. Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, and Thurman Thomas were all released by the team in the offseason. all three would eventually be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Starting in 2000, the Bills missed the playoffs in 17 consecutive seasons, a streak that was the longest active playoff drought in major American sports when it ended. 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I hate when you guys (the few) bring up past misery, and yes, it was a forward pass. The crappy thing is I had to go to an NSM (National Sales Meeting) in Nashville right after the game. It was horrible. I certainly Oy had my Bills cap on every morning at the hotel gym, and argued with work colleagues. I must have said 30 times, it was a forward pass. 1 1 1 Quote

After waking up from smelling salt a couple came up and said they saw the whole thing. Sucker punched from behind which sent me on my hands and knees, then was kicked in the face/head by the three dudes. My buddies were up ahead of me and couldn't get back down in time to help out. Wasn't good. Quote

The officiating during that whole game was sketchy. They had a team in a new city, in a new stadium, with new uniforms - all of that had to be sold to the public. Can't have them getting upset by the small-market Bills. 1 Quote
Talley56 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago This just occurred to me and the first thing I did when I realized it was to come right to the board to see if anyone had posted about it. Quote
