I will never forgive him for that Im guessing Woodys son is a big Rex fan LOL You mean, you didn't like our best pass rusher (Aaron Schobel) lining up in pass coverage? Or our best run defender (Marcel Darius) standing off scrimage and waving his hands in the air? He looked like an oversized penguin. Sorry, Rex was an horror show. hondo in seattle Posted yesterday at 03:11 PM Posted yesterday at 03:11 PM I wouldn't hire Rex but there's a certain point of view that says he's nearly .500 in his regular season career and over .600 in his playoff career despite never having a franchise QB. I'd guess that's how Rex himself views his accomplishments as a head coach. And he would have a point. It's hard to win in the NFL when you don't have the right guy under center. 1 Quote

Vehicle ad-wrap franchise near Rex Ryan's home. 2. Maaco collision shop and vehicle rehab facility near Rex Ryan's home. (Specializing in ad-wrap removal.) 3. Krispy Kreme donut franchise. 4. Tattoo parlour. Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted yesterday at 03:50 PM Posted yesterday at 03:50 PM Rex: "If hired, I'll end Rodgers 'country club" Head on over to the Gang Green message board for that interesting discussion. Quite a few against the idea, quite a few in favour of it. https://forums.theganggreen Quote

I thought it was very cool that he painted his truck like that. He's a blowhard and made some questionable decisions during his time with us, particularly in regards to his coaching staff. But he's a generally likeable guy - though I would have liked him a lot more if he had produced more victories. 1 Quote

dave mcbride Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM Posted yesterday at 05:24 PM Unless he convinces Jim Leonhard to come out of his retirement to be his starting safety, his defense will suck. Leonhard was a true unicorn - the only person smart enough to fully understand his Rube Goldberg-like scheme and be able direct other players on the field to their correct assignments on the fly. His defenses with and without Leonhard tell the tale. Quote
TheFunPolice Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM Posted yesterday at 05:38 PM IMO Rex Ryan is exactly what the Jets need right now. A bombastic cheerleader type coach who will get fans and players excited about being NY Jets again. Whether it will actually mean wins or not is another story. They have a lot of great defensive pieces on that roster, so I would predict Rex could get them into the 7 seed, especially because Miami is about to implode (IMO) and NE is a year or two away. Quote

Rex got to use that truck for free from one of the local Ford dealerships for advertisement purposes and another local auto repair shop that specializes in "vehicle wrapping" wrapped the truck to look like that... again... free of cost to Rex for advertisement purposes. Rex didn't have one single penny invested into that vehicle! 2 Quote
