He then breaks down the tape, in which we see Knox slipping, Hollins being doubled and failing to uncover, Kincaid being slow to release, and Coleman not just being jammed but FLATTENED at the LOS.

 

It's painful to watch.  

 

And oh, yeah, Allen just casually evades a few rushers and buys some time until someone gets up and gets open (it's Ty Johnson).

Orlovsky had the mic drop I think…he said it’s pretty much statistically impossible to lead your team to that good of a season without a 1000 yrd receiver or rusher (cook ended up just making it) and they only had 1 pro bowler other than Josh while the ravens had 9 total and despite all that the bills beat the 1 seed in each conference.  
 

he said if it’s a stats only award just let a computer pick it…that’s not what it’s about

For us not to have a 1000 yrd receiver is pretty wild. Josh makes it look good but WR is still a need on this team.

Amazing video!!! Imo Josh Allen is already an all time great. 

 

Josh is obviously super gifted with arm strength but some of his throws that I marvel at the most are his midrange passes between the fingers of two defensive backs. Yes, he has a cannon but I've seen him throw Kenny Stabler type touch passes as well, let alone his 10 yard "shovel passs." And on top of all of this, the man is smart.

 

All he (and of course us fans) need is a super bowl win. Josh is beyond great and a class act to boot. We are lucky beyond description to have him on the Bills.

Josh was named "Most Overrated" before the season, and then came out with a huge chip on his shoulder and carried the entire team for the whole season to an amazing year.

 

I'm almost hoping he gets snubbed just to stoke the fire right before the playoffs so he can use it to fuel a Super Bowl run.

 

The only MVP award that I want him chasing is Super Bowl MVP.

Ravens’ fans think because Cook technically got to 1,000 yards, it was some sort of “gotcha” moment with Orlovsky.  Whether Cook is at 981 or just past 1,000, Orlovsky’s point is pretty much the same though.  We don’t have a 1,900 yard HOF rusher like Derrick Henry.  And Cook only got to 1,000

because we forced it in Week 18 when Josh wasn’t even playing.

This throw is even sicker when you look at the end zone view from behind Josh.  He had to thread the needle through a 1 foot square box.  Anywhere outside that box, the ball is batted down or picked.  Sick, sick throw.

It shouldn't be painful. It is just one play. There are plenty of plays from that game where the skill position players did really good things.

The problem with the all-time great thing is the National media is stupid and only looks at surface-level stats and awards and SB appearances. 
 

josh is an all-time great and I believe he is a much better QB than Lamar. But the media just has their talking points and probably don’t watch all of the bills games to actually provide and informed opinion.

I often wonder what kind of stats Allen would put up with a receiving group like some of the stronger ones in the league (Bengals, Eagles, Rams, etc) in an offense that prioritizes the passing game.

I agree and I honestly don't think well ever know.  I'm not going to say that they never try to get guys, but I don't think it's a premium concern of theirs as I do think they rely on Josh doing Josh things and lifting up players. I also think we're too good to ever be in a position to grab a top WR.

Did they have any kind of gotcha for the team with 9 pro bowlers having a worse record than the team with 2?  lol not that the cook gotcha is even valid like you said.  I think other voters would have trouble trying to think of a comeback for that and orlovsky putting that on film probably helped Josh’s case a good amount.  Looks like the odds have been swinging more heavily Josh’s way in most sportsbooks even though the season has been over
